Does being a single guy make you a swinger? I would have thought not as it’s just sex with others that you can do anyway.
If that’s the case they are not swingers should they be on a swingers site?
Just a thought. Personally I don’t think they are swingers but they are needed on a swingers site yes.

Another couple who thinks they are superior to the singles on here. Surely the essence of a swinger is their attitude to NSA sex not their relationship status.

Read it again, it’s a thought that we’ve put on here to discuss, no way are we suggesting we are correct hence the asking for thoughts. Also it’s just a thought and thoughts can be changed.
If anything it’s in the wrong forum and should be for general chat.

Our take on single folks of either sex is that if they want to meet and play with couples then they fall under the swingers umbrella and if they only meet other singles they are simply just shaggers. |

Are singles who meet only singles swingers? My opinion- no but swinging has evolved to include almost everyone. The days of couples meeting couples only being classed as swingers is long gone. The people who shouldn't be here are those with a negative attitude to swingers - the ' I am single but wouldn't let my partner swing if I had one, but it's ok if I fuck your missus'attitude. |

I don't think that there's ever been a formal definition of what makes people into swingers - and there's certainly no definition on this site...
But if you would prefer that all us single women leave, then please just say so...
We'll probably just ignore you though, and keep on doing what we want..!

It goes for single women too surly, my personal view is if anyone single, plays with couples of either sex, attends swingers clubs is a swinger! But as said above we are all here for the same thing abit of fun, why label it it doesn't concern anyone what we all get upto x |

Well I've been a single swinger for over 10 years now.
Swinging has evolved from it's roots and is no longer limited to couples playing with couples.
I meet single people and couples and have attended many a party in the past yet never been to a club.
I'm single.
I'm a swinger.
It's 2018 maybe time for the attitude towards swinging in general to evolve within the community. |

I class myself as a swinger.
When I was in a couple I played with other couples - this to me is swinging: seeking sexual pleasure outside a relationship but with your partners knowledge (swinging couples sometimes only have one partner playing).
Now I’m single that definition doesn’t work!
But I see myself as a single swinger - Swingle!  I’m not here for 1:1 hook-ups. I play with couples / orgies / cupcaking etc... i find Fab heavy on the singles looking for 1-1 meets, who have no interest in the Swinging lifestyle which isn’t for me, so I use the clubs to find people who are into it. Not keen on the judgement in forums from singles who state they wouldn’t swing / share but are on a swinging site!! Odd |

My favourite swinging activity is a moresome - there would be a lot of bored women sitting around if I relied entirely on men from couples. Thank goodness there are single men who are willing to join in, and enjoy, the swinging scene. To me that is enough to call them swingers. |

The OP makes a valid point and one I see from both sides - has a ex MF couple that used this and other sites for year, I knew that "solo players" or "singles" where not really swingers by way of the fact they played alone - however - as a couple and later with my dear fem FB (who shared couples profile with here for 2 years), we had sexual itches needing sctratching;

In my opinion, singles are not swingers... especially if they are only looking for other singles. But, it's not really important. You could also say that couples where only one half plays are not really swingers, or cuckold couples. Ultimately the lifestyle is all about variety and freedom and most importantly "fun sexual encounters" and the label is not at all important.
