Dont know about your friend, but you're not meet verified, therefore you cant verify anyone.

For either of you to be able to verify anyone, you must already be verified. If you’re struggling to get verified then there’s a possibility that if you used the cam room and explained your predicament, that someone may cam verify you.. |

Meet someone who is already meet/cam verified or go on cam with someone who is already meet/cam verified and ask nicely if they will verify you.

If he’s already verified then it could be because you’re not looking for men. Change your settings and he should be able to verify you 
I couldn’t verify my female friend as she wasn’t looking for women and neither am i |

You can't verify if You haven't got one because otherwise people would just make up two fake accounts and verify themselves. A good way to get verified is to go to a local club or social meet. |
