After Size 24/26 I’d say that is SSBBW. X"

I'd say 18-22 would be your 'average' range for what mist would consider a BBW, but as with all things, it depends on the individual in question as everyone holds themselves differently and at 6ft size 18 will look a lot less 'BBW' than at 4'11 |

I dont think bbw can be based on a size sometimes.
Some woman have a petite frame and at a size 16 look overweight with no bones showing etc
Others have more solid frames and look slim at a size 16 |

I hate the term BBW - but in my opinion a plus sized woman is size 18 or over.
Height plays a big part in how big you look at a size 18 - but a size 18 is definitely plus size. |

That's true but if a woman is a size 18 that means she is definitely overweight or BBW or however you want to put it.
I'm a size 18 and definitely overweight.

I agree although using clothes sizes isn't a great idea in my opinion. People who are tall who are a size 18 will look completely different to someone much shorter of the same size. I'm a size 16 to 18 and don't consider myself a BBW. |

I think ts fair to say that curvy bbw voluptuous there all likeable terms used to describe a women's body without causing any offence to anyone.
It's good that I can now understand from ladies views on what they class as bbw |

Very true.
Height isn’t the only factor either, some people carry their weight better than others and tend to look heavier than they actually are. Also your bust, I have to wear bigger tops for my bust alone.
It’s all very confusing! |

Well I suppose like most labels on here there is an element of subjectivity. Just for me bbw is just not a dress size or weight. It's a lot to do with shape, proportionality and where that weight is carried. So just by virtue of being size 18 I wouldn't nessersarly say someone was bbw in my opinion. Having said women who are size 20 plus often have the type of body features I associate with bbw (which is unsurprising and logical). |

Just to throw a spanner in the works, not all plus size people are beautiful either, just like not all slim or athletic people are beautiful, so surely just being a particular “size” isn’t enough to qualify as a BBW seeing as the second B stands for beautiful |

If someone considers themselves beautiful who else has the right to tell them otherwise? |

I never put much thought into where bbw started or ended I just assumed majority of fashionable clothes shop cut off at size 14-16 so I assumed 14-16 would drop below bbw and be top end of average with anything above that being bbw until fabs I didn’t know of the ssbbw I get embarrassed when termed a bbw as I consider my body larger but my face and looks very much average or below however I do have an amazing sense of humour I’m a great listener good tea maker and an amazing personality unfortunately this doesn’t shine through during s five minute feel in the bushes |

Another Big Bubbly Woman here
The second 'B' can be whatever you want it to be... Beautiful, Bubbly, Bouncy, Busty... whatever. It's the first 'B' that tells you you're not going to be getting a slim, lithe lady. |

Personally I hate the term BBW even though I’m very aware most would label me such. I’m a dress size 18-20 with a 34JJ busy so definitely curvy and not slim/toned. I prefer larger/curvy/voluptuous/busty. At the end of the day we are attracted to different people - thank goodness. Learning to love my body -so learning to disregard labels I used to see as hurtful.
At the end of the day, sexiness is a lot to do with confidence, personality and connection. Dress size is purely an initial attraction. |

May I ask. Why was the second B added to BBW? Don't get me wrong I like a curvy/bigger woman but not every big woman is beautiful. It's not like every skinny/toned woman is a skinny beautiful woman. Just a skinny woman. |

I take it as it being "big is beautiful" rather than a beautiful face.
Of course, not everyone thinks that big can be beautiful but that's their opinion and they're entitled to it. |
