Because people are selective, so it makes it harder. We’re pretty picky, so we have yet to find a woman we’re happy with joining us. We hopefully have someone interested enough at the moment, but we like to be able to hold conversation as well. Sometimes that puts others off. Not an issue for us though, we just accept it’s harder for us to get a meet.

Easier to play in a club, most people are there to play... Trying to arrange babysitting and all that bs then cancelled on you.... Nope. I'd rather arrange childcare, then go out to a club, at least you're out then...don't know how many times we've tried to sort meets, then it all goes pear shaped |

I don’t bother much with fabs to meet as the level of effort is out of all proportion sometimes- it’s useful as a chat tool or seeing which clubs have events on.
Besides all people at a club are real and in person, therefore not timewasters |

I'm not entirely sure what you mean... so I'll answer based on what I hope you are asking.
Not everyone likes clubs or wants to attend clubs. People have different criteria and ways to engage with others.
Meeting someone in a club is very different to online. Some people are more attractive / articulate / friendly etc in person and others can communicate their personality well online.
Personally we prefer clubs, as it's easier for us and allows greater flexibility and more opportunities.

They might be a small percentage but at least they are real, they are there to meet and see if things click. No chance of not turning up and wasting time because they are already in the Club. At least if you decide not to play you have a good night out. |
