So....
The chat on Fab was great, social down the pub went well and now you’ve invited them over to yours for a meet.
How do you break the ice? Or what’s the most interesting ice breaker you’ve experienced in the scene. We always seem to struggle with this, never got awkward (thankfully) but never known quite how to turn the pleasant conversation into a trip upstairs to start what everyone is really thinking about.
Worst case it was gone 1am by the time we “started” (well worth it though).

If we're having a drink I usually ask as soon as the glasses are empty "shall we go upstairs?" If no drinks involved then I ask the same even sooner.
Or we start playing where we are and the rest follows.
Nobody objected to it yet.

We sometimes use a board game to get us all nude and in the mood, have one called "Daredevil" we bought through the internet many years back.
Or we have a drink and a chat, where we discuss our and their boundaries, then we just say "let's go up to the bedroom." When we all get there we swap partners and undress one another, taking it slowly. |

Strangst and most immediate ice breaker I experienced whilst alone and away from home was at a Northants / Oxon Premier Inn.
Where a cpl I had a drink with invited me back to their room because the third party who was supposed to have joined them had stood them up without any explanation.
Though flattered I declined the offer, explained that I was married and faithful to my Missus and beat a hasty retreat.
Pity that sort of thing didn't happen a few years earlier when I was a single man.
It certainly broke the ice though. ?????? |
