So I've recently moved over here from quite an active area on this side of life.
When I arrived here I soon found out that there isn't much obviously going on, all a bit agricultural. Then it seems a lot of people are afraid to show their hidden self as it's a small community and gossip is rife.
Someone did suggest that there are some 'parties' that go on but I'm yet to be invited or find the right people to chat with.
Then this week, I discovered that there had been a 'sex shop' in the town. Seems to have been a bit contraversial and closed due to lack of business !!

Been here less than a week near Tywyn. Had an invite to a party in N Wales this evening but couldn’t make it.
You’re right about the chapels though, loads of them around with quite a few converted to homes.
Must be a bugger to keep warm, maybe if they had a party...  |
