I care about certain things and not others. I also differentiate between things I can usefully care about and those I can't. For example I care very much about those poor people caught up in that fire I'm Greece but there's nothing I can look practically do. Therefore I'm not going to appear om Facebook in sackcloth and ashes rending my garments |

I guess it's human nature for most of us to care about the plight of people less fortunate but,I have to confess,I tend to feel a bit of ''compassion overload'' sometimes. There seem to be so many appeals,on T'V and the media,,even on the walls in gas station loos.
If I could wave a magic wand and solve all the worlds ills,I would but I can't and sometimes,I just stop even noticing the cries for help.
I do care,,,,but sometimes I don't. |
