Hey everybody
Just a topical question that has had me wondering for some time!
Other than the mass delete which I know many do periodically, why do you unfriend someone on here?
Is it due to lack of contact after the request had been accepted? Or have you seen the pictures in their private gallery and had second thoughts?? |

We used to unfriend if we'd had no contact or response to a message for a couple of weeks (assuming they'd been on line). Now we rarely accept friend requests so just leave the list there. One maybe two of the people on it contact us now and again. |

I have a friends clear out every now and again. If people don't make the effort to chat every now and again, then I don't see the point in being friends. |

I do it if you can tell they continually come online, but do not respond to messages. If I take the time to make someone a friend and they accept, it's not an unreasonable expectation to get some communication. You get friend notifications before other types so there is no excuse other than apathy or disinterest. And my time is too valuable to waste on people that can't be bothered to answer 1 message in a fortnight.... (This is obviously a big pet peeve for me....) |

If they have p****d me off they don’t deserve my ‘friendship’. |

People who set a date to meet then fall silent
People who never quite get to setting a date
People that I don’t know very well who have not kept in touch
People who have met but have no idea what aftercare is (so we won’t be meeting again). |

There and to the left a bit |
I think I've only ever unfriended one person and that was when I realised, as a result of their forum presence, that I had no interest in messaging/meeting them and therefore didn't see the point. |

If I delete someone it’s usually within minutes of accepting the request (if they have shit photos). Otherwise I’ll leave someone there forever. I don’t feel the need to delete a person, even if they haven’t spoken for a while. |

The only reason I’d unfriend someone is if there was no contact for ages after the initial messages or if they displayed behaviour that I really didn’t like.
I’ve not done it since I’ve returned, I like to pretend that I’m popular |
