Can any one enlighten me here....
I’ve been told that once you pay for a room in a hotel, effectively it becomes your private property for the duration, and you can, within reason, do as you wish. I’ve also been told that hotels can be anti meets and actively turn away people if they think something untoward is happening. I appreciate that different hotels have different policies about this, official or unofficial, but I continue to be confused as to a guests rights.
Thanks

You have been misinformed then. It does not become your private property, nor are you allowed to do what you please, within reason, as you state.
What you are allowed to do is governed by the contract that you entered into with the hotel. I.e. The hotel's small print. |
