Chatting to an English friend who works in Scotland, and he's been surprised by the absence of support for England.

That said, just as a Andy Murray is a great British athlete when he wins at Wimbledon, I hope the British entry at the football does really well, too.

Of course it is....... without a doubt .....
And why are the Scots always bitter .... (about football and England) they suck on a lemon and the lemon says Yuk!! .....
For me even if Just a second think if they did come home now .... it’s the furthest we have got in 28 years so an achievement in itself .... so the lads have done us proud regardless 
BUT I really do think it’s coming home this time .... it’s their time |

England are a decent team tho their big let down is how people big them up to be the best team in the world. Constantly saying it's coming home and putting them under a severe amount of pressure to succeed.

I think you might find .... it’s called “getting behind” your national team and keeping the faith. I totally get the Scots haven’t got a national team to get behind when it comes to football and I guess time will only tell won’t it .... but one think I do know .... the England squad is the best in the UK and Just sad the rest of the home nations (mainly the Scots) are bitter about it .... regardless how we done .... as a team we are head and shoulders above the rest of the home nations .... |

Southgate said it spot on .take one game at a time . sometimes we get ahead of ourselves far too quickly .the moment we start with this " its coming home hype " it all goes tits up .celebrate each win as it comes .looking into the future doesn't win many prizes .I'm sure we will win it one day but who knows when that will be . Think it was more aimed at the fans than the team....the "fans", including the un bias commentators, are sometimes a tad hard to take....I mean like, IF we ever beat Sweden we would go have fun in a sauna, not wreck Ikea. |

I think the SFA should be over in croatia taking note on how this small country of 4.1M is doing in football. Croatia is a team with only 7% of England’s population. They constantly produce quality players that are in some of the best leagues in the world. |
