Some men think that others will be put off if they say they are bi/bi curious, so prefer to 'label' themselves as straight. Their profile, their choice. |

Similar happened to me lol! I’ve kept bicurious on my profile though and just blocked single guys. I figured that if I’m open to meeting TV/TS, I couldn’t claim to be entirely straight! That’s just me though. Everyone is entitled to put down whatever they choose. |

I get the complaints about being pestered by guys, especially when you say no single guys on your profile..... but seriously... what do you think women and couples have to put up with every day by comparison..... for all you fellow bi, bi curious, situationaly bi, bi lite and diet bi guys out there . Just get out of the effing closet and at least be honest with yourself and your fellow fabbers.... you might miss a few meets from people who don't like Bi guys but you might win a few ever better ones! |

Pretty strong views you have there! Plenty of women have bicurious on their profiles and don’t see themselves as bisexual. Do you have a problem with them not “coming out of the closet” too? |

I think the sexuality labels this website provides could be improved but as labels go, people usually want to know such information so by saying you’re straight but aren’t, isn’t really fair to those who don’t want bi, for example. I do appreciate though that people can identify as they wish. |

As I always say when threads like this come about - the guys that label themselves as straight (to get round the preferences of the "won't meet bi guys" people) but are really bi should realise that by doing so they are actually closing just as many doors as they are opening - as people looking for bi guys either won't be able to find them, or (like me) won't meet them because they have lied.
As for not wanting to get pestered by other men - as an openly bi guy who would welcome well worded messages from other guys, I don't get that many messages for it to be a problem - and if it really is a problem for anyone just set the no single men filter |

My feelings apply all ways, so no different for women would who say they are str8 but aren't.....
I agree completely with those who say the sexuality labels on the site are inadequate, so my view is admit to being bi or bicurious, but then use your profile to describe how you view and interpret your own sexuality, so that your potential partners have an honest choice from the start....
I mean seriously my profile is the Anti-Unicorn I state on there that I'm a 40yr old, hairy, circumcised, married, bi bloke. That ticks most peoples no boxes before I start.
But at least the few people I have chatted with know who and what I am, and where I stand. And I don't have to begin by backtracking and defending untruths and omissions....
Don't mean to be preachy but wouldn't it be nice if this was the one place we could be honest about ourselves? |

If you play with cocks you are at least bi-curious - just because you don't fuck or get fucked by guys doesn't change that - in fact there are plenty of gay guys who don't indulge in anal play of any kind.
How you choose to label yourself is of course your choice entirely but per my previous post you're potentially shooting yourself in the foot by hiding your true sexuality |

I agree with everything you’ve said. My only issue was I felt you were kind of having a dig earlier at those choosing to use the term bi-curious. |

If they are that bothered then perhaps they should ask the question. |

If you you’re a straight man then I’m definitely faster than Usein Bolt anytime with any money on it. |

Alas others judge bi men pretty harshly on here. Especially women.
I get plenty of chaps apply to attend my Pan People party with straight on their profile. I'm only interested in people who are open and comfortable with who they are. So it cuts both ways. |

If it's something people are extremely bothered about though then they should as it is them that find it an issue. |

I’m not worried about how guys label themselves - I’m not going sue them under the Trades Descriptions Act! I’ve had some great meets with guys who describe themselves as straight and some have become good buddies. |

I'd love to be able to attend one of these days |
