Mirena coil, can men really feel it?

As per title,I do like it in certain positions for deep hard fcking

But I'm worried that it will be felt by the guy?

I've heard mixed reviews about whether or not the man can feel it, especially if he's a big boy?

A house, a very big house in the country

From experience yes, but if the threads have been left from the original fitting you can go back and ask them to be shortened. That's what I did.

Now no problems.

If it can’t hurt the guy why worry?

My exhusband could feel mine when it was new. After a while, he couldn't.

Yes, it can definitely be felt but the strings soften over time. We actually found on the last one that shortening the strings made it worse as they were less flexible.

Happy to report that current one is AOK

With my ex I could feel it with my fingers so had to be gentle and careful not to pull it out or catch it.

When thrusting deeply in certain positions I have noticed it but it was never a problem.

Usually can only be felt for the first 6 months or so after that they should start to meld into the vaginal tissue. If they are causing a issue get them shortened

So yes experience tells me you can. BUT I wouldn't say it painful. It pushes against the end of your cock but it never damaged me.

They are effective, although my ex had issues for the first few months with heavier than usual bleeds. They calmed right down after a few months though.

(I may have over shared.)

A here, yes can certainly feel it in more than one position. Agree don't get them too short and spikey! There is something satisfying about feeling them, if that isn't too explicit overall a win win. Never a problem.

When I first had my coil in, back in the late 80s, my husband could feel it, so my go trimmed it down a bit. I don't know what they are made of now, but I think mine was metal.

I've never had a guy say they can feel them... But sometimes I struggle to find the strings so that's possibly why (also have short fingers so that probably doesn't help )

I think if it bothered the guy they'd say. If they don't say anything and it doesn't hurt. Don't worry.

Be careful tho. I find since having it in, particularly deep and certain angles give me horrible cramps the next day.

It is impossible to feel the mirena coil as this is inserted into the uterus.

What can be felt sometimes are the strings. The mirena coil strings aren't as soft as some other IUDs and it's worse if the strings are cut too short, if left a little longer they can curl naturally into the body.

My man has felt mine at times, not often though. It all depends on the position really. Downside for me is that I really, really love doggy and it can sometimes be a bit uncomfortable

I had one previously and never had a issue with it. Mr is a BBC and he's never reported feeling it.

It also depends on the lady too, if your cervix is quite high up unless their trying to smash their way through it they are never going to reach it. But if the cervix sits low I imagine your going to get an issue then. Like others have said trimming the strings down can help.

Only painful if trimmed to short then they tend to feel spikey ( to a guy)

I believe the strings are made of similar thread to fishing line, a fine plastic type so they don’t degenerate whilst in place. That’s why they have to be removed using a thread retriever

Yes hurt my mr had the strings shortened still hurts him and I can feel him hitting it so hurts me sometimes then again he’s quite big suppose it shouldn’t be an issue for smaller average size men

Sometimes men can... but that’s normally if the strings have been left too long.

Personally I’ve never had a problem with the man feeling it... I find every now and again it bites me when the strings move unexpectedly... but this is easily resolved.

I do have an issue sometimes with large cocks... if they hit me too deep in the wrong place then it hurts me, but not them.

Maybe a few polite gentlemen amongst them.

One rarely likes to make a woman feel uncomfortable especially when the subject is about her love box. Many are too self conscious and to have to try and explain that one wasn't passing judgement is too much to go through.

The pill / condoms have always worked for us. I just can't see any advantages to a coil. Even the word coil sounds horrible.

Advantages of a coil to a pill is you wont forget to take it. Advantages to condoms is you dont have to interupt the flow to get and don a condom, which does reduce the feel.

Disadvantages are doesnt protect from stds unlike condoms, can be left by partner, has to be proessionally removed.

"

I chose it because with a coil I have no periods at all, unlike the pill. I don't have to bother with repeat prescriptions and for someone of my age it lasts for ten years and alleviates the symptoms of the menopause. Nothing to do with me being forgetful.

Alfreton

I had mine fitted last December. Mr Pip has reported that he can occasionally feel it. I can feel it when we have sex, he's no mandingo, but I haven't been able to have him fuck me hard in months!

As someone also mentioned above, trying to get it removed has been a nightmare. I started bleeding about a week after it was fitted, and haven't stopped since. I know this is down to the coil, but the clinic I visit has made me go back to my GP, then to have an ultrasound to check for other stuff. Unsurprisingly it came back clear.

I asked for it to be removed at the beginning of May, and it will finally be out at 7.10pm tonight. I have gin on ice ready to celebrate getting my normal sex life back!

Mrs Pip
