No nothing just turn up and pitch up. Tents and campervans only. No caravans.
Dennis will find you.
If you use postcode for Dyffryn seaside estate campsite the are literally across the road |

We would also like to know where to look up this site as we have used that beach on a few occasions but had to walk some distance from the site at Shell Island. |

"Hi guys,
One last question, is Den’s field naturist camping or textile?"
It’s a family friendly camp field so textile. But he allows naked sunbathing on the far side of the field but you must stay behind your wind breaks. |

I might go there tomorrow. Was going to go to Slapton but weather looks better in Dyffryn. I haven't been before. Is there ever any action? I read somewhere on this forum that the dunes are patrolled. |

So, for those if you planning to go to Morfa Dyffryn here’s the skinny. The beach is lovely and the sea is warm (by UK standards).
Den’s field is actually called Pentyre Mawr Farm campsite. Dennis is the guy who owns it.
To find it, ignore your Satnav. Just before Tal-y-Bont (heading from Barmouth) turn left at the brown tourist sign for the Barmouth Bay Holiday Village. Almost at the end of this road is a right turn with leads a ¼ mile up another road to the Holiday Village. Take this turn. The entrance to Pentyre Mawr is almost immediately on the right.
That said, why anyone would camp there is completely beyond me. It’s a field, with a couple of taps and 3 pairs of portaloos. Nowhere for a shower which, of course, is exactly what you need after a swim in the sea. It’s not even a particularly pretty field.
My advice, do yourself a favour and camp in the Holiday Village. It’s close to the naturist beach, has nicer camp grounds and showers. |

Oops sorry, its called the Dyffryn Seaside Estate not the Barmouth Bay Holiday Village. So the left turn is just before The village of Dyffryn Ardudwy, AFTER Talybont. |

It all depends on what views you like as to where you camp- snowdonia national park or a 8ft high stone wall ( if you go in the naturist section) |

We are in Dennises field across the road his naturist section looks across fields and mountains.

Camping is the way to go at morfa. B and b might be a bit difficult due to their holiday season though I am sure about 15 miles twenty miles away something should be OK it's a beautiful beach looking forward to this weekend if the weather is OK enjoy the beach everyone keep it naturist |

Down at the beach Fri/Sat if the weather permits, and maybe Sunday. We have accomodation for Friday night, but may try Denis field for Saturday night, can we just turn up or is it likely to be fully booked? Any one see us say hi, sorry single guys make us uncomfortable so we can be frosty. |

I go to this beautiful beach all the time and have just returned from a few days there. I would recommend staying at shell island as they have great facilities for campers, they also have a couple of chalets and flats to rent if you dont fancy camping. The nudist beach is only a short walk from the main family (none nude) beach, basically get on the beach and walk left. The sign telling you its a nudist beach has now gone but if you stay close to the dunes you will see other naked sunbathers to let you know its safe to strip off. I find the people on this part of the beach are very friendly and will always stop for a chat. The water is lovely and clear, perfect for a naked swim. There are a few jelly fish about at the moment but to be honest they are not really a problem as they are quite small and very unlikely to sting you, if you are unlucky to get stung the sting isn't much worse than a nettle sting.
Make the most of this lovely weather and go get an all over tan in one the most beautiful parts of the UK.
Have fun and remember to practice safe sun |

we use the camping showers, use the bag to warm water or heat it in a kettle,
you can buyvarious types some better than others ours has a 12v pump on it with a reasonable showerhead plugs into lighter socket and delivers a nice spray of water, you just need somewhere to hook the shower hwead or get eachother to hold it for you, they are basic but they do the job |

We're off to Shell Island today until Thursday. Hardly sunbathing weather but hopefully dry and good enough for a long walk or two.
We'll be down at the beach/dunes at some point.
Anyone else venturing there this week?

Doh, we're leaving about lunchtime on Thursday.
Been down to the beach today but seemingly no one about.
We nipped into the dunes for a little play on our own though. Was hoping we might find a couple doing the same. Not to worry, back there tomorrow! Onwards and upwards! |

Yes, back to work after Thursday!
We've both been amazed by the weather. Yesterday we were walking along the beach and it was warm, windy, sunny and raining all at once! Never seen weather like it!
Now that we've been once we'll be back for sure. Roll on summer 2019. |
