Never thought about this before but probably a mix of both.

Sometimes I search for specific things I like or would like to try.

But sometimes come across other things that make me go wow I’d love to try that

I think one has an effect on the other and vice versa. I do go through phases of searching different things. So maybe fantasies has the edge??
