Seriously though, and without any porcine puns - we always park at the national trust car park and stroll to the left.

As the man says, NT carpark and turn left down the beach until you see the signs or park on the road by fire Point 6 and walk the path to the beach. Both are about 3/4 mile

I usually park as close as I can to the bus stop/fire point on Ferry Road. It`s actually a shorter walk than walking along the shore line from the Knoll car park and it`s free! Whatever you do, don`t park out on the road outside of the Knoll car park if it`s full because as sure as night follows day, you will get a parking ticket!

From the NT car park, the first part of the beach, the dunes especially, will be mainly frequented by hetro sexual couples and men, with the area past the refreshment van being heavily used by gay men. This is not set in stone of course and there will be many pure naturist couples there.
