Hmm, I like this topic. I am very close to ending my career on the site
Right now, I have two possible meets lined up. However, I feel that this place is horribly oversaturated with overly eager men/fantasists. I can fully understand why a lady wouldnt bother to open my message in a sea of mail. Even I was getting messages from guys before I blocked single makes ffs 
What are your thoughts? |

The same reason that I wasted a whole day on trying to find someone to commit to a quick social before a private party I’d travelled to Blackpool for.
Loads thought it was a brilliant idea until it actually came to showing up to either and all of a sudden...
Tumble.
One lovely man met me for a coffee but decided not to come. The other 50+ men just didn’t respond to my last message giving them the details and a few messaged others on the party list and did exactly the same thing.
I have no idea why I just didn’t give up hours before I did. |

I'm hoping that the patient, charming and humorous and chatty gents remain on the site, to use the chat rooms. It's much easier to build up a rapport in the chat rooms, where the conversation is back-and-forth in real time, than by exchanging messages, (you'd need 20 back-and-forth messages to achieve the same thing as can be achieved in 5 minutes, in the chat rooms).
Of course, the ones who get impatient and grumpy about not receiving replies aren't likely to have much more success in the chat rooms. |

Because there is always that one you will connect with and good times will follow. I've been on fabs for about 3yrs and it's been hard going as there are a lot more single men these days. I still use another site which I've used for around 14yrs. Over that time I've made a lot of friends. Some are just chat friends. Others i have a closer connection with. But you just have to stick with it and ignore the idiots. |

Im not here to grind out hours of messages for sex, I am not desperate lol. I am here for fun. In saying that I have 6 unread messages and 11winks. How things have changed......probably all guys loooool |

I think it depends what you want and what you're here for.
If you just want a shag, you can do that but the quality of person may not be that good.
If you want abit better quality you have to put the effort in and have extreme patience... also don't take it too serious. There's a real world out there.
Feb is a strange place, but you can definitely find what you're looking for. |
