blocked holy fuck

i think i got carried away blocking, from i started chatin in forums i started to take onboard the block rather than get pissed off, now just over 300 blocked, and it seems endless gettin invites as friends from people that cant accom for 1, or gays and bi's ect, i think i will run out soon fs  |

I block after I've said no. That's why you'll never see a thread from me about receiving abusive mail after saying no, constant emails etc. If people used the block more they'd cut down on the constant messenger...but I have a sneaky suspicion some people just crave the attention. |

Nowt wrong with blocking.... it's a 'tool' the site provide for you that some will use and some will avoid.
I don't have much time/patience for people that don't interest or annoy me so I do block to avoid any chance of receiving PM's from them. |

we have been back on the site for 4 weeks and have 56 blocked so far 
We only normally block though if we have sent a polite no then get daft messages back as can't be bother arguing.

I was blocked yesterday by someone who winked at me and sent me an invite, so I sent them a message which was thought out and yes I had read there profile! Then they blocked me! I'm now very paranoid about my profile/pictures lol.

Blocking has to be a thought out step and last resort. People who fail to read or understand what you are saying may never respond to anything else. That said we do review them x |

I have never blocked anyone from just a mail. But being on chat rooms there is only sooooo much abuse you can take (and give back ) without resorting to pressing that button. |

I use the block when I come across profiles who don't want to meet bi men or forgot that we have chatted before and the same questions are asked, bit like groundhog day, lol |

we use the block facility 'cos some cant be arsed, feel they dont have to, are to lazy to or just plain wont read the profile.
whilst it may seem too long for some to read, its ours.
tbh we could reduce it if we did'nt have to put simple things like dont contact us if you live too far to reasonably travel etc
we also get blocked, hey ho

I've just counted 8 on mine
3 who didn't show up for meets and offered no explanation or apology
2 who just wanted to talk dirty but always backed down when a meet was mentioned
2 serial lookers who said nothing and didn't respond to messages despite looking 3/4 times every day for over a week, and
1 I don't know why, but he's obviously done summat to piss me off |

I block if someone is abusive, someone whose specifically asked to meet and I've said no to or men who are constantly irritating me with their neediness. A message like 'you had a meet last week and I was free that night, why didn't you contact me' will get an instant block.

I don't tend to block people.... just those who really really grate me.....
I just use the "private notes" function instead to write down why i would have block them instead...
very theraputic writing down what you really think of some people, then being able to wipe it afterwards if you feel like it.... 
or keeping it if you think they are a proper twit!!! |

i only block when they dont take no for an answer or when they get abusive, like last week i got abuse from a guy cos i had a meet the night before and he saw my verification...i mean...a meet on a sex site...shocking!! |

I block a person if they send a friend invites without speaking to me or asking. often do that. I block a person afetr I have said no thanks so they are unable to message me again later on and me having to say the same thing again. That has cut down the mail I get massively. I will block a person if their forum posts has me seriously disliking the person posting. |

Have only got 8 on our block list...
Only tend to block if we have already said no thanks and they then contact us again asking to meet.
Or if someone sends us us an abusive message.

to be honest i just dont see the need
if i say no to a guy and he keeps mailing me i just ignor them, they only wasting their own time and they get the message and give up after so many ignored messages
and the abusive ones, well i just find then funny
i like to see how much ranting one man can do after being rejected before he moves on because hes not getting a reaction lol |

Don't really care obviously means i'm not there type or we've chatted and they think i'm a timewaster cos they didn't get their own way.
I block to save people wasting their time if their not my type or forgot they'd already messaged. |

if i wanted everyone to know my name id have it on my profile under name
what i hate even more is when they use your real name followed by your user name so every knows it you
why do they do this, is it just to be fooking annoying or is it a way of letting all the other guys talking to you they know you personally?
i just blank anyone who calls me by my real name no matter how many times i have met them |

I havnt counted but i have a really long list of people i have blocked. People who keep sending me messages even though i have said they are too far away or who are not my type, or men who are rude or pushy. Men arrange to meet me the following week, then i dont hear from them again, till a few months later, so i block them. |

I will block people that reply to an initial "hello" message by saying that they are not interested. This is NOT because I think I am so wonderful that no woman/couple dare reject me(I know I am most definitely not!!!)but so that **I** dont bother them again if,6 months down the line,I see their profile,possibly updated and with new pics,and cant remember that they werent interested the 1st time around.
Athough there are 1 oe 2 blocked for being a bit of a pillock to me. |

Just blocked someone 2 mins ago! Been chatting today re looking to arrange a meet - swapped msn addresses - and they gave me the same one that a 'completely different couple' (yeah right!) that stood me up last month gave me! lol. Clever enough to put different pics on their profile - but stupid enough not to set up a new msn address! lol |
