"Has anyone ever been in a proper polyamorous relationship and did it work ?"
We’ve looked at it (with another female) but are worried something may go wrong? We’re not sure what could go wrong but it’s just a worry if that makes sense.
We’ve talked about it a bit and are still un decided. |

Yes. My husband has had a girlfriend for the last 2 years. I had a lover up until February of this year but after 7 years he wanted more commitment than I could offer so we parted as friends. Would love to find a new man but sadly not many understand how it works. |

Yes the way we see it is, if it’s mmf, the female loves both the males equally, we’ve talked about it, and in fantasy at least we both love the idea, and even know which guy we would invite to join us, we know he fancies T as he did want to take her out at one stage. |

In a way.. They did nt live with us but I had a relatiinship with another man as well as my husband. All went fine for years but jealousy did become an issue in the end. Theirs not ours.
Have recently met someone else this may work out with. |

I'm not sure if like to give the arrangement a name, but I love being a unicorn. I've been involved with a married couple for the last 7 months and it works fantastically. I think the whole arrangement should be called unicorn because I imagine it is extremely rare to find something that works as well. Honesty and openness are the key I think. We have that in bucket loads. I like both of them equally but for different reasons. |

We have spoke about it and its something that we would be happy with if we could find the right person either male or female but finding people that you feel wont get possessive is the hard part.
A couple of years ago mrs sinful was seeing a single guy who we thought we both got on with only to find he was trying to manipulate her to to leave me and live with him he had no intention of sharing anther mans wife and harassed us for months afterwards when she ended it!

Have been looking into this for a short while for a partner for myself, we love each other no exceptions but mr misty is suffering with an illness but he wants me to enjoy myself and go out more, but not sure if it’s the right thing. |

This is something that we may slip into unintentionally so to speak. We both enjoy the freedom to play with others with no jealousy at all. It seems difficult to really discern when does a regular lover actually class as polyamorous...Either way with or without a label....we love it. X Respect for all parties seems to be the key. X |

Yes. I am legally married to my wife of 20 years and was handfasted to another lady in May this year. We consider ourselves spouses too. Everyone knows about each other, and we often socialise together.
I had a sub/gf for 7 years but that did fizzle out. Still it was successful for those years.
I happen to run the London Poly meetup group and know plenty of people for whom it works and is a, way of life. |

I dated a couple that I met on here a while back and they were poly and it was an interesting experience. The hardest part for me was that they lived far away so although we all spoke every day, I saw them every other weekend which wasn't frequent enough for me really.
I'd definately be open to the idea of being in a triad though. |
