Just curious as to what some may consider swinging to be on here?? I have chatted to quite a few who consider themselves not to be a swinger and others who embrace the idea of being a swinger. I believe that most things you can't really label them and with such a diverse culture we can be bits of everything. Thanks to the internet it has allowed us to embrace ourselves and what we do more freely without prejudice. That's why I'm a professional arse hole and occasional twat!!  |

were not swingers as we don't full swap, we just enjoy a little bit of naughty fun infront of others and watching others and love being naked outside and infront of other naked people,
not that the word itself bothers us in anyway, we are what we are and we don't need a title or lable to justify our likes
does this mean we have to leave this site now ? |

When I'm a couple or single I only play with proper swingers that enjoy couples, singles and group scenes be it soft or hard, not into unicorn hunters at all. |

Looking at some of the posts on here and comments from singles looking for exclusivity ,the fact that they are on the site is the ONLY thing that makes them swingers .

Although some would disagree I think it depends on the mindset rather than if you are part of a couple. When I was single and looking for love I wanted to find a partner who was open to embracing the lifestyle.
I think if one is single and the idea of sharing sexual adventures with a loved one horrifies or repels then that person is not a swinger. |

We’re swingers. We attend swing clubs and parties. We might do a partner swap but tend usually play with singles because it’s easier that way. The singles we play with are also swingers, and it would be out of our comfort zone to play with people who are not swingers.

I don't think we consider ourselves 'swingers'. I'm not sure if it's the 70's image of the classic 'keys in a bowl with the neighbours' that the word conjures up. Also we're still very hesitant when it comes to involving others and I think proper swingers would have far fewer limits?
I'd say we were more sexualy adventurous than our friends when it comes to having sex in front of others and in having some soft play fun in clubs. |

I dislike the attachment of labels but I do appreciate that they provide a common understanding.
So no today I’m not a swinger in the true sense of the word because I’m a single women hooking up with others for fun, sex, and perhaps a deeper emotional relationship if I get lucky. If that happens and we both have sex with other people then I would describe myself as a swinger.

Well given Google refers to a swinger as:
1.
informal
a lively and fashionable person who goes to a lot of social events.
"one of the oldest swingers in town"
2.
informal
a person who engages in group sex or the swapping of sexual partners.
"a twilight world of swingers and wife-swapping"

The old fashioned term used to be wife swapping, in a literal way. Now swinging incorporates all sorts of different scenarios, so I think anyone who interacts sexually with other people, are swingers.  |
