I volunteer with all ages from younger than you to older than me and we all have something in common - the job we’re volunteering to do. I absolutely don’t have anything in common sexually with folk outside my preferred age range. Been there, done that, didn’t have fun...! |

Yes for some, that's why the site has an option to set an age range.
It really irks me when someone thirty years younger than me tells me that "it's just a number".  |

Age is not an issue but an age range is a preference for many.There is nothing you can do about it . You can tell yourself they are missing out by not meeting you or you can put your energy into meeting and playing with those who value what you have. When you meet other swingers at social events then age is largely irrelevant because positive factors come into consideration. |

Yes age is an issue with me and I have come to that conclusion through meets..
I prefer slightly younger than me, older than 55 tend to be more demanding of exclusivity. I prefer 40-50 atm XXX

Only the very (very) young think “age is just a number” .... it’s a personal thing. For us we’re not interested in playing with anyone younger than our children or as in your case OP you’re only a year older than our eldest grandchild  |

For me, age is not an issue.. I prefer to look for a physical attraction initially and if we also get on after chatting then I would be open to meeting regardless of age  |

Just bear in mind, not everyones preference is for the under 50's.
There are people on this that enjoy the company of older people. It doesn't mean they are just after a notch in their bedpost, or to tick something off their bucket list.
You are simply attracted to what you are attracted to, and age has a part in that.
People around my age or younger just don't do it for me sexually.
There may be the odd one or two, but generally i prefer older.
Being young doesn't make you sexy.
Knocking ten years off your age just to try and catch a cut off of 40 wont help, they will see through it, and ignore you anyway, and people looking for +50 will ignore you as you aren't in their age range. |

In other words age is an issue for you otherwise you would not have a preferred age range for sex you would judge each partner indiviually. |
