I think I've seen some pictures in here where it's written in permanent marker all over the girls body.
Humiliation / degradation is a kink, porn has heavily assisted that but irl it's a probably a small minority whom enjoy it. |

I like being called slut in a sexy situation, it's a mild kind of dom/sub thing I guess.
Different connotations though... slut to me describes how you are with one person while slag has more of a promiscuous sense. I don't like being called that. |

My mrs would absolutely hate that word being used to describe her, I think any meet would be ended right away if a guy wanted to call her names like that |

"would any woman actually classify themselves as a slut/slag.. or is his grossly offensive"
It's just an offensive word. All it means is a person who likes a lot of sex with more than 1 person. men get called "heroes" while women are labelled "sluts" there is nothing wrong with women or men wanting to do this but women are bashed for it with a grubby sounding word! In the bedroom, a lot of women would like to hear it, just like they like to be controlled by a guy in the bedroom....this however very rearly extends to outside the bedroom! Not many women actually want a controlling boyfriend who thinks she's a slut! lol |

Depends where it’s said and who by:
With a meet I know it’s fine and I actually love it.
A bloke I’ve just met it would make me question his attitude to women depending on how it was said.
Joe Bloggs in the street - he’d get a smack. |

I'm neither. And quickest way to ensure we never speak, let alone meet, is to address me as either in an opening message.
But some ladies like being called it.
To each their own. |

Lol yes. In an opening message that would be a definite candidate for the bin. |

I’m a fan of neither and would find both offensive!
I do, however, love some other terminology which suggests that I might be a little more adventurous than the norm!
I would term myself as a ‘Strumpet’ - it rolls off the tongue and round the mouth so well - don’t you think?
A lot of the old English words are so much nicer and richer than the modern equivalents, don’t you think? |

There is a big difference between the label and the behaviour.
Lots of ladies like to act slutty and sleazy as part of play and lots of guys enjoy it when they do, but that does not make them sluts.
I'd only call a lady a slut or slag if it was an important part of play for her. She would have to initiate it. |

"I prefer the old fashioned definition of slut. And as someone who uses the hoover to hang coats on and doesn't own a duster...then I suppose I'm a slut too!"
I love the Pepys quote

I don't mind slut, my hubby calls me that, but usually within a certain context. There's a photo where he's written it across my ass but I had been a very naughty girl that week. The word slag makes me shudder. Not quite sure why, perhaps because it was used so much when I was at school as a derogatory name for girls, usually because they were sexually active and, therefore by default, classed as being promiscuous.

I think they are completely different words. Slut to me is all about sexuality and said by the right person at the right time can drive me wild. Slag to me just means someone who will fuck anyone indiscriminately. |

I've seen loads refer to themselves as such. They're not for me but each to their own and we all like variety. World would be boring as anyting if we were all the same. |

i kind of see a slag as a girl who gets used by loads of guys for the guys pleasure, a slut i would say is a woman who uses guys for her own pleasure |

Obviously my Slut takes no offence from being known as such
But it is very much a name we use at the right time and right place - she loves me referring to her that way - but only because it’s done with such affection.
If it was in a derogatory manner then that’s a whole different ball game
Personally though I don’t like the word slag in any situation
Each to their own though |

The old joke was, what’s the difference between a slut and a slag?
A slut will sleep with everyone, a slag will sleep with anyone but me. |

I am a submissive and only Sir has the right to call me slut. Im his slut the times I am submitting bit its a very special relationship we have if you read our profile and our statements of each other. I am offended when we get mail and someone refers to me as slut. Im submissive to one man only unless he shares me but that does not justify a stranger calling me a slut if he is the one wanting Sir to share me. |

The problem is with meaning, given misuse in a negative way.
Example:
most of us here use cunt as literally referring what a lady has at the base of her torso / between her thighs.
Why something so nice has been misused for so long as "he's a ****!" mystifies most here and there is no explanation.
"Slut" should be for fun banter. "I had sex with seven different people at the swinging party" might get the cheerful chorus of "Slut!".

"The one and only word I can't abide.. Slag
Growing up in a mining village, Slag is the unwanted leftover waste.
Worst insult you could ever use near me. "
Similar, there is even a slag lane in the village i grew up in. I did look there when younger, but non around |
