Well we've been to quite a few clubs now mostly in the North, from flea pits to sophisticated environments.
What is the ideal swingers club in your own opinion. What are the must-haves and what do you avoid. Dress down or clothed. Hot tub or pool? Too light, too dark, too loud?

Personally I like a dressdown club as its a great leveller - you are all on the same playing field from the off.
I like a darker club rather than flourescent strip lights too - I wouldn't go in a pub that had stupidly bright lights and certainly don't play at home in glaring light unless bright sunlight!
I like music too but not too loud and of varying genres.
Most of all the club has to be friendly and clean though.
I play and host in Cupids for all the reasons above  |

We love Atlantis in Stoke. A small club compared to most but the people make it what it is. The friendliest most laid back place we have been. The owners are amazing hosts and no awkwardness from anyone. We have been to clubs with hot tubs/pools/saunas etc but would much rather do without them and keep going here as our regular club. |

One of the high end libertine clubs in Paris is our ideal.
Men have to wear suits or at least a shirt, ladies a dress with lingerie encouraged.
No single guy nights which works for us, restrictive door policy, classy members club feel inside with no doubt as to cleanliness etc. Really good chilled atmosphere. Attractive and likeminded respectful people.
If we go out we like it to be a nice event, and these places make it feel like one.

I'd say that both Townhouse and No.3 Club both do it for us. Really well maintained (no damp patches and flakey paint) as well as having a seductive atmosphere. A nice range of rooms to suit different tastes and requirements. A wet area with a big hot tub and sauna is a major plus! Also needs to have a decent bar and social space where you can chat without feeling crammed in or having to yell over music.
Dress down in the play areas at least and a minimum enforced dress code of smart casual.
Good vetting of members, especially single guys. And a limit on guys attending unless it's greedy girls or open to all.
It doesn't have to be a massive club to be successful but it needs to be well thought out and managed. It also needs a good character of its own  |
