Spotted browsing fab in public....

Hi,
Just wondered if anyone has ever spotted someone looking at fab on their phone in public? There are thousands of us sharing the same trains, buses and coffee shops so got me thinking...
I always think how great it would be when having a discrete look on the train that someone gives you a knowing look and says “hi”
Anyone?!

Or has anyone used the “see who is near” option and actually stumble across that profile in person.
Make me curious how accurate the distance is and if I was sat in public place and my profile pix made it obvious who I am, would someone using Fab be able to locate me, or stumble across me in person? |

I never have, and if I'm a coffee shop etc I always try and sit with my back to a wall so that I can perv Fab without fear of someone looking over my shoulder. |

Anytime I go to town or anywhere before I leave the car I check " who is near me."
Unfortunately all the time is just some guy quarter of miles away from me, never any girls . Butbut I do not think it's accurate . |

Unless I'm at work (I'm a teacher), I browse openly. So I am sure people have seen. my phone, my life, my business. If they are looking that hard, they deserve to see...which is the same way I feel about dressing or undressing in front of my bedroom window. |

I browse every day on my lunch break in the coffee shop opposite the office...(as well as at my desk, but that's a different question - I browse a lot!)

I stopped at a motorway services for a coffee/pee break and was having a fab browse when I received a message from someone I’d been chatting too before, they were at the same services so we had a chat over a coffee.
Got that social out of the way  |

That's not a very acceptable attitude. You will do as you wish all right if someone sees cocks, sexual photos and reports you, especially if a minor is with them You could get on the sex offenders register if convicted. A little common sense and a bit of consideration for others goes a long way. |

Yes. Or rather stumbled across them first, they looked at me in a strange but not unpleasant way and then I browsed Fab 15 minutes later and there they were? |

I can sit on a train and read the collective works of The Marquis de Sade ir Razzle if I wanted to. They are legal to buy and legal to read. If I was viewing a site on my phone that contained sexual imagery then I am free to do so. I don't actively show it to other people, if they want to spy on others viewing habits that's up to them. But they should not complain at what they see. |

All these people posting they look openly in public should realise they might not mind the general public knowing there business but the people who message them and or the people online as there viewing fab might!! |

I tend to browse a LOT on here especially on my work commute but have a privacy screen on my phone so unless someone’s standing directly behind me they wouldn’t be able to see anything, you could see a bit from certain side angles but unless it was a Fabs user no one would know - and if it was a Fabs user I don’t mind someone introducing themselves if I’m on my own or with V |

I've always wondered about this too.
I notice when I'm at the central train station there's often lots of people close by, bit I never know if they are using on a train or stood behind me! |

I used the who is near to find a, picture of a married work colleague full frontal face pic as his profile on as a single guy, never had so much fun. |

After a long enjoyable meet, we were relaxing and checked our phones. FAB showed us within a quarter of a mile, actually in bed together.
But I do wonder which of my neighbours is the profile that is regularly close by. |

Only last week, I spotted a lady from my hotlist with a quarter of a mile of me. A quick exchange of messages / phone numbers, and within half an hour she was helping me to demolish a bottle of single malt, whilst we put the world to rights. On a school night too!  |

I was on the same train as a couple once. When I refreshed everyone changed but one couple stayed within walking distance. I was outside of their age range though so couldn't message  |

Yes a woman caught me today when I was waiting for my train. She gave me a knowing and unimpressed look with one eyebrow raised before turning her head. But all I had it on was the message screen, so she must be on it herself to know what it was |

When we went to Lanzarote in February we were in one of the bars and checked fab and a single guy with face pic on his profile.. showed the closest of who’s near.. 2 mins later he walked past us on his way to the loo. We never approached him as we not looking for single guys. Would love to see a couple near us on fab though  |

When I was on a cruise in March I did a quick check to see who was local and turned out someone from the same cruise was there too. Never met up unfortunately but still had a good chat. |
