I'll wear whatever I have to hand  I have a pair of jammers (not a great fan of them & won't replace them), swim shorts & swim briefs. There's nothing to be self conscious about as you'll be in the water more than out of it.
For the beach, I'm mainly nude, but if needs must, will wear swim briefs. Don't worry what others say, it's all down to trends. Try them & see  |

Reminds me of a joke I heard years ago.
A guy is complaining to his mate that he doesn't think he's packing enough to fill his speedos enough on the beach.
Do what I do, his mate says, find a decent sized pebble and stick it in your speedos. Hey presto...an impressive bulge. The ladies won't be able to believe the size of it.
He sees his mate the next day crying into his beer. What's up cock, didn't you try that pebble trick? Yes I did you didn't say I was supposed to put it down the front though!  |

have just got back from holiday in Lanzarotte and had taken some small speedo trunks but in the end did not have the guts to wear them. I am a chubby guy and not toned, with a bit of hair too and was worried how others would look at me. It was a shame as liked the look of them down below and the idea of them being tight and bulging in the right places was a turn on. Maybe one day I would will do it. |

Here on this side of the pond those very long, baggy trunks have been in style in recent years. I think they look absurd inflating with air when getting into the water. Short trunks would be fine and I would like the Speedo type trunks but I'm not very fit. I would wear them if most men did.
I saw a scene in a comedy film on TV in which several kids ridiculed a young boy for wearing Speedo briefs. I don't know if Americans are a bit too prudish sometimes or too lazy to avoid fashion trends.
I prefer social nudity anyway. |
