Personally, when my estrogen is low my sex drive completely vanishes but I had a hysterectomy so am relying on HRT now. She may be experiencing fluctuations but only she can tell you how that affects her. Again for me, when my estrogen is low I feel terrible; hot flushes, restless legs, bone and muscle pain, headaches, itchy vagina, and the rage I can feel is apoplectic. Let's hope you're feeling doesn't suffer so badly XXX |

Menopause won't be the same for every woman. Theory is all very well but in practice things could well be different. I've never had a hot flush or experienced a lot of the symptoms many women do but my skin is dryer and the hair that used to grow under my arms appears to have migrated to my chin...
Chat with her about it and get medical advice for any unbearable symptoms. Just make sure you see a doctor who has an interest in women's health.

Oh and speaking only for myself I would say I'm more or less the same but even less inclined to suffer fools gladly, more inclined to tell people what I think and incapable of putting up with crap of any kind. |
