Just a quick question to all..

If you liked the look and sound of someone you’d spoken to from here, so much so that you arranged a meet... If said person had an injury, complaint or illness (non contractable / non contagious) would this put you off of them?

Somewhere / Everywhere /Kinksville

We had a guy turn up once to a group meet with terrible psoriasis. I didn’t mind but I wish he’d said because we were all a bit taken aback when he took his top off.

I think letting people know in advance is a good idea.

Depends how debilitating it is for them. Only because I have one of my own and two of us struggling wouldn't make for very good sex.

We met a guy once that said he had a scar on his face (the pic he sent must have been old) when he turned up- half his face was missing and it was oozing

Not prepared for that-not good

How did you deal with it? What a predicament he put you in! He should've sent you a recent pic to avoid such an awkward situation.

Luckily we always only have a social meet first so we can both discuss things-so we had a drink, used our usual 'get out' code and messaged him after and said sorry not for us

Messaged a guy on another forum for a while and when he turned up he was..quite disabled, walked like buckled Rogers and had a really bad arm twitch...i let him in but told him I wasn't interested and wished he had mentioned his disability before arranging to meet...looked like he was spastic...i just couldn't...felt bad but he really should have said.

Given my first meets are social, not at all. If I liked then, but found that I couldn't overlook their condition, I would hope that we could still be on friendly terms, even if a play was no longer on the cards

You can actually tell it was another forum because he turned up.

I had a guy who kept his sunglasses on. When it came to play he had a false eye. It made no difference to me but if he had told me beforehand it wouldnt have been the elephant in the room

It really depends on what the condition/injury was, but if it's something which is visually obvious, then generally some prior warning would be appreciated, so I have the chance to talk about how it affects them (if it's relevant), and make a mental adjustment if necessary.

If they didn't tell me and it impacted the meet then I wouldn't be pleased.

Not sure if this counts as an ailment.

Few years ago had a meet was a social first.

She was pretty and seemed quite keen but she arrived in flip flops and her feet had cuts and scabs and blisters all over them and was bright red compared to tone of the rest of her skin colour.

I just couldn't.

Im already not a big fan of feet as it is.

We're not meeting at the moment for that reason, We've both got bad backs and I've got an injured leg following an accident, most the time it's not too bad but it does flare up and usually during sex. I also now get really bad cramp in my hips when I orgasm I feel we'd be wasting others time meeting them when we are like this

Met a guy on here and went well, and arranged a repeat meet (daytime in a hotel he was staying on business). We turned up, he came out to meet us with arm in a sling, turned out he’d had a sports accident and sprained badly, got in room took it straight off and he thought it was hugely amusing as it had put us off our stride. We went ahead with meet but shortened it and , when he contacted again to say visiting area, it was an easy call to politely decline. All we talked about after was “ what the hell did he do the sling thing for”

Met someone that had gastric bypass surgery. She lost 250 pds. Didn’t say a word until we were about to get naked. When she got undressed I was knocked back. I just told her I didn’t have any condoms and said next time....

She texted for a meet next month for a meet and I told her sorry. I have a girlfriend.

I’m shocked it took so long for someone to say that

Spastic to the disabled is like coloured to black / ethnic minority. A word from the past.

I'm from the 70's...isnt spastic a thing anymore?.

Genuinely curious...i used that word as the only way to describe the severity of his disability, but wasn't aware that it is no longer a medical term

That’s why charity shops are now called ‘scope’ and not ‘the spastics society’

My mothers best friend in the 70's was black, she preferred coloured...words are just that-words,I've worked with disabled people in hospitals in the past and in my current job and treated them as i would anybody else,I'm just not into being fucked by them and if i was i would like to know first so i wouldn't be put on the spot...i think people nowadays are a little bit too judgemental of people they don't know, but whatever,I won't lose any sleep over it.

There used to be a thing called the spastic society-now I'm informed it's called scope-they weren't being insulting then and I wasn't now..just misinformed...try being less self righteous.

The snowflakes strike again.

Does that mean we aren't allowed to listen to Ian Dury anymore as someone will find his lyrics offensive?

Oh well, I suppose it is 2018 and everyone has the right to take offence at everything.

I know but I think she should have said something beforehand. Then I would have been mentally prepared to handle the situation better.. other than that she was a great person.

Brighton - even Hove!

I always try to do a social first after chatting as I don’t like surprises and I don’t think the lady would either. I’d expect people to mention things. I find scars very sexually attractive, actually.
