I really, really really would love to go to a private party, but I never seem to get invited.

Thinking I should just bite the bullet and organise my own.

Any advice on hosting would be appreciated.

We've hosted a few parties in our time

. Our approach is generally to specifically invite only people that we know reasonably well or have at least met; then we advertise that we're hosting a party (via profile text and status, and posting a meet) and see who responds. We'll aim to fill about half the party either way.

So I think that constitutes both a piece of advice on running a party and a potential explanation for lack of invitations. You might want to first get on some party hosts' radar by responding to an advert or two. Then you might find yourself specifically invited in future.

We host parties at clubs, you are more than welcome to attend ours. And if you need any specific advice the feel free to PM us.
