How many cd tv ts have gone outside dressed during the day ? I have on numerous occasions, once i was fully dressed met another cd at staplehill woods near Taunton at 0700 we had our fun she left i stayed a little while when walking back to the car park there wete loads of people heading my way so head high in my heels stockings suspenders micro skirt see through blouse and black bra and panties i walked through them. In the car park there was a local elderly walking group so i went through them to my car. A elderly woman knocked on my window and told me i was very brave !!!!!!! Has anyone else experienced this sort of thing |

I was in edinburgh 3 weeks ago mistress and did venture to primark in princes street dressed with a friend. I got the looks and sniggets but who cares |

I go out in public on my own all the time.
I try to be one of the girls and largely don't get read as a male.
I feel your going out and trying to shock and provoke reaction is just putting the trans cause back.
It's a serious business for many of us and you're just undoing the good work I and many many others like me have been doing. |

I've been x-dressing every day for a couple of years now. I think January was the last time I left the house in drab, and that was just a trip to the corner shop.
I don't think I fool many people for long but I can't say it worries me overmuch, and reactions both from friends and strangers have been lovely almost without exception.
I do quite often get random strangers approach me just to pay a compliment on how I look, and compliment me on an attitude to life whereby I happily live publicly as a fairly obvious tranny. The majority of them are women, especially at work, and sales staff when I'm out shopping. I really enjoy it and will never go back now. |

I spend most of my social life in female gender, going on for ten years now. My usual dress style is casual though brightly coloured, hippy chic. I always go for brightly coloured hair, often multi coloured. My usual experience is that I'm just treated as a woman by the general public, even though i know that i must frequently be read as trans. |

If I'm dressed I get an overwhelming urge to be outside while dressed...been in shops but yet to go to a bar or club but I know I will one day...wolll be disappointed if I don't get fucked by a real man after too. |

I get that too. Even though my height is a dead giveaway, and any remaining illusion disappears as soon as I open my mouth. I find it sweet. |

It's only if you see feminity as something inferior to masculinity that you'll get a hang-up about what others may or may not think.
It's one thing to dress sexy outdoors - I like to - but it's another to go out looking overtly sexualised, which is how your post comes across.
It can land you in a bit of trouble, as these two found out near Dumfries in 2014.

Thank you princess niki i was in a situation which i didnt predict and running away would have been wrong .
I am not a weirdo the weidos are my mum dressing me as a girl till i was 11 my uncle for abusing me when i was 10 and did so 3 times a week for 3 years.Did i ask for it no yes i am different . As for what i wear some women wear less |

Being while since dressed fully and often kept it to local bdsm events.
Once years ago did go out for lunch in the centre of Birmingham while dressed and even went greyhound racing dressed
Not sure have the confidence to go out dressed in public much but often my own nerves would give the game away |

Its best to look at what women are wearing both casual and smart of your own age group and emulate them...
Me I just wear flat heels, crop leggings a top with sleeves, short zip up jacket... so I just fit in with the every day street crowd..
But well done to the Poster of this thread, good on you, your not doing our community a disservice at all... |

When I'm Polly and i need to go places i just drive, without any worry or embarrassment. I don't particularly try to call attention to myself but i don't hide away. I'm just me, a woman who happens to be trans. If and when I'm read as trans, it just demystifies it a little for the common folk. They might be a little surprised the first time they see a trans woman, by the tenth time it's just commonplace. Ultimately we become part of the day to day scenery, maybe getting a smile for our dress sense or crazy hair colour, but getting no more attention for being trans than anyone would for being eg. an ethnic minority. |

I agree. But I suspect the number of people who take offence will be greater when it is perceived to be same-sex than opposite-sex couplings. Shouldn't be that way, but I suspect that's the reality. |

Depends how much you want to fit in though. I tend to dress all kinds of age-inappropriate a lot of the time.
There's a schism in trans/CD communities. Those who think we should go all out to look as convincing and inconspicuous as possible, and those who think "I'm going to look how I like, and do what makes me happy". |

Yes,though not so often of late due to work.check my pics X love driving dressed, and have been pulled over by the police - no headlights on leaving Asda at night in a well lit area,they were fine,checked my details,let me go, no hassles, probably pissed themselves laughing after but professional in front of me lol, also involved in an accident while dressed, not my fault, other driver too concerned to even notice I think. On both occasions my heart sank / shit myself on both occasions,but both turned out ok.Never had any problems out dressed,using female toilets etc,etc but I am careful so far as I can be as always out alone except the occasional visit to LFF. |

Last night i actually wasnt dressed and actually did take my dogs out for a walk at a national trust wood area where low and behold there was a van with 6 men queuing up to fuck this rather large women dressed in an outrageous outfit when i come back is was because the van having bukkake but in clear view of the car park . It annoys me that i am seen as a weirdo but the same as me for what i wear when a woman can do that and not a lot is said |
