So on another thread it’s claimed that dogging isn’t swinging .
Dogging is what got us into swinging , and we’ve done clubs , house parties , straightforward meets at peoples houses , outdoor , hotel and every possible combination of what swinging offers . What we have found in the seven years of swinging is that the one thing that we always go back to is dogging . Yes we are selective and never just go for anyone and everyone , but the spontenaity of dogging is so exciting .
So for those who think dogging isn’t swinging , please explain why you feel this way .

Personally, given the wide umbrella of activities defined as swinging, I'd say it is.
Given the late 60s/early 70s definition it probably isn't.

I think couples who prefer couples other couples only can see it that way. On that basis swinger club nights that have single males isn't swinging. Never been dogging but I see it is as much swinging as anything else. Just more raw  |

To be perfectly honest - for me swinging is what the individuals concerned define it to be and not some sacrosanct definition that someone else chooses for it - so if dogging is part of your definition OP that is all that matters really, and long may it continue  |

Yes it is. And people get quite snooty about it. But if you like it, then it’s no ones business but yours. As for names, traditionalists will suggest swinging can only happen between MF couples anyway. Who cares, enjoy, I’m jealous you have a groove going on, which seems to have disappeared around here. |

You meet people (we struggle with this part at a club) you get on and have fun. In our opinion the people we meet dogging are a lot more friendly. |
