There is quite an active Irish scene, there's loads of groups on there for local munches and events. Google Nimhneach, it's a bdsm themed club night once per month. But if you're shy the munches are the best place to start.
But I agree it can be hard to filter us out on here, especially as so many profiles are blank or say very little. |

Unlike the UK scene the Irish scene is a bit more discrete and by word of mouth until people get to know you |

Go in, fill out your profile as best you can, have a look at a few of the group's and events in Dublin. There's munches for all sorts. I recommend one of the smaller ones (or even a Tuesday munch instead of Saturday) to begin with. Once you start recognising people it's much easier.
Be open to learning, and with your interests etc. Don't worry about fitting into a certain label or box. Most of all just be genuine. And have fun
