Blatent fake profiles

How does this happen so much ie people screen shotting porn actors or lifting other peoples pics.. We have had a fare bit of annoyance with a certain guy pretending to be omar,,, Yes thats right omar and some other screen type cant remember name with 14inch cock as user name.. Both profiles clerly cut from professional movies the omar profile goes then pops back uo again it could almost be believed but the place he says he dwells is a very small village that we know very well and people live in the area,, only about ten fifteen houses its just mad that they let them do it time and time again. And when we set up this page they rufesed. Loads of oir pocs as cut from our own vida but are n were blatantly us ie same people in all,, there must be a way they can keep ip adress of repeat offenders and stop them from setting up new pages every few days or weeks |

Best thing to do is keep reporting some people don't bother I'm sure if they're removed enough times they'll get fed up. Only had one message me a few hours ago!! |

The fact they can con someone into a false meet,all the fabs and messages they get. Clearly they're sealing attention for all the wrong reasons. It's soo annoying it's unreal.
I once came upon a profile that the person had taken pictures from an online sportswear page. I didn't clock until i went to buy something off said sight and noticed that the pictures looked very familiar,but couldn't place them.until i spoke to the person and saw them on their profile.
Not sure why they did it as i'd actually met them in person and they were fit. Just shows that even verified people can have fake photo's too. Once you send your photo to be verified then effectively you can upload any picture. Long as nobody notices that it's blatantly not you ha |

Keep reporting but it makes no difference, I must have reported a certain person using fake lady pictures maybe 35 times now. I ask admin why they allow it to happen, why they cannot spot it’s a fake, etc etc etc.... guess what, never a reply from admin and after a day or so, maybe a week, they are back on.
This particular person asks for fantasies etc to fill his wank tank.
Admin could and should do so much more. |

I assume they are volunteers with lived of their own and strict guidelines to follow, so I cut them some slack.
While it would be nice to have them at our beck and call, it ain't gonna happen. |

There lots on here but the site blocks any talk of it. This thread will get removed I can guess.
The fakes are often popular as some believe they are real. The money it brings in will stop any action about stopping the fakes |

Strangely I haven't come across anyone with photos taken from porn stills, maybe as I don't watch it so wouldn't recognise them. I don't think they are left on for the money they bring in, as this site is peanuts in subscriptions anyway. A lot won't pay either. One thing I like about this site is you don't get pop ups like on other sites. I haven't come across many blatant fakes but plenty of dreamers and fantasists. |

I had a mail threatening with a ban for sending abusive mail. The profile had not opened the message.

I get round this by asking them to send a live pic from kik as it has the word "camera" underneath it so you know it's live. I thought that this was working quite well until the other day the person actually took a live pic of the same pic on the their profile off their laptop hahah I mean you could see the lines. So then I thought only go on cam....then another person just had their ceiling on the cam so got to see me!! So now I'm running out of options hahah honest it's crazy on this site for fakes. |

Not sure why people get so het up about this.
Avoid new and unverified profiles. Report and block any you are sure are fake.
And ... chill

There is not a lot of point reporting as nothing is usually done I'm afraid. Fake women con genuine people and bring in the money for the owners |

The biggest time wasting exercise on this website is reporting Fakes and their fake pics, the TS/TV most fabbed photopool , particulary the top page is daily dominated and glutted with digital fiction... |

Ummm unless they had opened it and then remarked it unread. That’s an option that exists in messages.
More likely than mods reading all the mail.

I can 100 percent assure you the person had not being on line or opened it. I questioned it and they admitted to it |

you do know that IP addresses change don't you? If you switch off your router at home for a short while, there's a reasonable chance you'll get a different IP when you switch it back on. Alternatively, using a public WIFI or your phone's 4g will also give you alternative IP addresses... This is why IP filtering wouldn't help.

true but most wouldn't do that. IP blocking would reduce some of the fakes which is a good thing and anything thing that cuts them down the site should be doing these simple tasks!

We had some one message us a year ir so back. Who were using images of the victim of well know murder case!!! How had that not been spotted!!!of course we reported it straight away. |

Cal is spot on - IP addresses for home users are rarely static and will change on a regular basis. Also again when using a phone you are sometimes actually going out over your carriers IP address (depending on carrier) rather than one that is assigned specifically to you - banning this IP could end up blocking a number of users in one go.

This has been discussed many times and there’s a obvious reason that fab does nothing to stop all the fake profiles but when you mention it you get banned from the forum so it’s best just to accept its part of the website. |

I can't say I agree with this. There are two things that you need to consider.
1. There are many thousands of new accounts created every week.
2. The site admins are unpaid volunteers with little or no formal training.
There is a lot that could be done to make registration harder or more secure, but ultimately that would deter more genuinely curious newbies than it would fakers. Many of the type of folk who would be setting up fake accounts will be pretty tech savvy.

Just because they're curious or new won't stop them in my opinion as if it's something they really want to do then they'll understand why joining is harder. Yes you may loose some genuine folk who will be put off by it but the amount of fakes will surely diminish,and that will be better all round for the users of fab.
I didn't know if i would stay when i first joined but that was more to do with if this was for me. Photo verification wasn't an issue as i got one could fully understand why they asked for that. |
