I am seeing an increase in people (apparently genuine) who won't send face pics for fear of being recognised
Ok so we meet in a bar and I'm supposed to sit there and wait for you to recognise me?
This is my argument: I've seen people I know with profiles on here- I never knew they swing and they didn't know I swing until we stumbled across each other's profiles- so who are they going to tell? " you'll never guess who we saw looking for intimate fun on a swingers site last night". They are going to be just as discreet as you
Apparently 1 in 8 people will swing or consider it- sooner or later you will meet someone you know either on here or at a club
Have I missed the point? I understand discretion but feel some are being a little paranoid

I would never meet anyone without a face pic. I used to put this this in my old profile “ If you’re face less, I’m speechless “....that being said....

In the end, people do what they're most comfortable with and you're unlikely to change their mibds no matter how reasoned you feel your argument is. There are, unfortunately far more people than you think who are *able to act with discretion. You have to work to your own limits and boundaries and if seeing a face picture prior to meeting is an absolute must for you, those people who won't send one aren't for you. Just move on to those who will"

I’m not afraid of being recognised by a colleague; as you say, we’d be in the same boat. Likewise, I’m not afraid of being recognised by any other friends or acquaintances.
However, my job is public-facing, and I can’t afford to be recognised by any clients. So, with local people, I need to speak to somebody for a while before I swap face pics. It’s not paranoia, it’s just common sense. |

Many Swingers love to tell anyone that will listen all about their sordid sex lives and all the people they meet. They would see no issue in telling the whole town that they saw you on here. Can't blame people for wanting to be private.

We won't meet without face pics. Ours are public. Talked to a couple earlier we asked about face pics and they said we won't upload any pics at all on here and they can't send them via mobile either. They had over 20 pics on the site already and why would anyone give mobile out to a stranger ? |

Exactly, this isn't blind date. Understand people want to be discrete.
Tho I find those profiles demanding face pics first before engaging in a conversation are those that tend to be unverified by a meet let alone a photo.
I would never meet anyone without video chat beforehand let alone seeing a face pic before hand. |

It's the tired old response I'm afraid..but people choose how they engage in this lifestyle, those who don't reveal their faces will limit their opportunities but preserve their anonymity and will have a variety of reasons for wanting to do so.
Digital images never die and what might seem like a good idea today might not be tomorrow..especially when the Sunday Sport come knocking at the door

My buddy did this once... turned up to a bar.. Stayed there for 2 hours looking at every woman that came in the door... she never showed up or probably was some Guy looking at laughing his ass off |

I understand some people's needs for privacy due to things like employment. However, it pisses me off when you're talking to someone for a while and they ask for a pic but are unwilling to send one back. You don't want to send one, fair enough but don't be cheeky enough to ask for one. |

I had a message from a male half of a couple. They wanted a W/E male to full fill his wife's fantasy They wouldn't send face pics but made all sorts of demands on me such as prove you penis size, take a full length body pic etc, I got bored very quickly.
As I've said I did chat to a woman on here for about a month, we got on so well it didn't occur to me I'd not seen her face until I was on my way to the bar to meet her- by which time it was too late. Thankfully she showed up and recognised me and wasn't disappointed. Guess I got lucky after reading some of your stories |

I can certainly understand people's reluctance in swapping face pics...particularly if they work in a high profile field / area. But basic common sense and laws of attraction dictate that virtually no one will meet someone else without having a preview of who we are.
I personally have no qualms in sending someone a face pic if I fancy their profile and certainly wouldn't agree to meet anyone before seeing theirs. |

My job (and my personal circumstances which I’m totally honest about) stops me from having a public face pic on the site but I have sent face pics privately. Yes there is a chance that they could be screen grabbed but there has been a case in here recently where a couples pics were grabbed and put up on Facebook. Not clever and downright ridiculous. They have reported the person but when you see things like that happening it can be a bit scary |

I think if discretion is that important ,it's probably not the right site for someone .
We would never meet without swapping pics, could be anyone ans maybe no attraction.
We have had a couple delete our message when we asked to see a pic ,don't know how they plan to get meets.Each to their own though

Its crazy that people are demanding guys to jump through hoops, even more so that guys actualy will.
Alarm bells should start ringing as most of the time sounds like a guy getting his kicks off. |
