Single men getting let down.

This has never happened to me. Mainly as I very rarely if ever get a meet lol.
But does it happen often to single men getting let down by women or couples.
We all know it happens to women n couples but what about us men.
I seriously don't understand why anyone would do that be it a man woman or couple and not be polite to let the other party know in advance |

Now this is very different to the other thread.
But mainly it’s because, until proven otherwise all female profiles are couples touting for a unicorn. And all couples profiles are a single bloke hoping another couple won’t notice his wife is busy that day.
The numbers of true females/couples is vastly lower than it might appear from a search. Then you have to factor in the fact that girls are much more likely to change their mind/get a better offer/bottle it.
Work on a 40% conversion rate at best. And that’s once you’ve done the usual checks. |

It happens all the time, it's life on here unfortunately, it's not worth stressing over. Yes people should say if they change their mind but they don't. To them, you're a stranger they think they owe nothing to, that's if they even had the intention of meeting, for some it's just wank fodder and they never had any intention of meeting.
I've been on here for 7 years, had one no show with no explanation in that time and I was in a coffee shop I would have been in anyway on my break so no problem. I appreciate the way I meet won't suit some but to me, to book a room, travel great distances etc with someone they've never met is mad but there are many who will do this and not let you down. The hard part is figuring out who are the ones that will show.
It's a lottery on here really. I never expect anything from this site. That way I'm never left feeling let down. It's a bit of fun never to be taken seriously as far as I'm concerned. |

I've heard a lot on here that couples will arrange multiple meets incase of no shows then cancel the rest at the last minute when one shows up so it must happen. We have had guys on stand by but we tell them and let them know in plenty time x |

I think that's acceptable to have men on stand by and at least you let them know which is fare enough |

To be honest I’ve had to cancel meets at short notice, usually due to work. I’ve never just not turned up however have had that happen to me a few time, I can usually spot the ones that will be no shows these days! |

If I had a pound for everyone that said they wanted to meet only to go very quiet or completely awol when I message about a day and time I’d be rich. It’s the one thing that has taken the excitement out of meeting new people as until they are stood in front of me I won’t get exited about meeting. |

we / i have to disagree we have at time's reached out to male's on at least 7 or 8 occasions and on everyone they either cancelled at the last minute or didn't even bother to do that courtesy so they just left us sitting and just didn't turn up...this after chatting for a good bit to them.... so needless to say meeting male's is now bottom of the list.

Happens quite often on here.
Chat to someone send the face pics then strike a spark between each other.
Exchange phone numbers and continue to talk or even video chat happy that each person is who they say they are.
Arrange a meet come the day of the meey ghost mode is applied. Profile dissapears or blocked and deleted.

I imagine it happens to everyone to some extent. I’ve had countless people over the years who get chatting and go all coy when it comes to meeting, disappear in the few days beforehand when a meet is arranged or cancel then never rearrange. Par for the course.
I also had my first full on stand up a few weeks ago. It’s why I focus on clubs more now and see chatting in here as a bonus if it turns to more. |

I doubt single guys get let down as much as women and couples (although I can only speak from a couple's perspective.
When we're free to play, we're free to play. We make the time and are ready. But many single guys on Fab are clearly doing it behind the missus' back, so they either cop out through guilt/lack of bottle, or can't get away because wifey needs them to go the B&Q or is suspicious.
Trust me, people bang on about finding the elusive unicorn, but finding a single bloke she fancies who is reliable can be just as hard. |

I’ve no idea which demographic gets it worse. Us personally we’ve never had a no show. We don’t meet new guys very often, so when we do we make sure we get it right.
