kissing is perhaps the most sensual part of sex... bringing you face to face.. so I can totally understand why many couples wont share it..
I dont like to kiss meets on the lips.. not because I find it to intimate but because it does nothing for me. I do on occassion do it... but its more for them than me. But I find myself counting the time till it will be okay to stop kissing.
However, I will only use it for foreplay.. once sex starts I do not kiss someone... (except my Master)

People have different views on what is intimate and what is not. Your point of view is irrelevant as is the majority point of view. In terms of what is judged to be personal or not, that is down to the person.
I would be very put out if some one was to tell me that my personal choice to enjoy Pizza is Madness as everyone else likes Curry.

I think if you struggle to mentally and emotionally separate the sex you have with your partner and the swinging you do and feel you need to keep something that's just for you I get that, but kissing is an important part of sex, and a big turn on.
If you are in a loving trusting relationship with you partner that's the difference between sex with them and sex with others, creating arbitrary boundaries to try and differentiate seems a bit naive. |

I love the excitement that a kiss, gives and creates, you can tell a lot about someone in the way they kiss.
I got talking to a couple, I was very attracted to her and she said she loved kissing...but aftera little more chat she revealed that she only kissed her partner on the lips during full sex... I fully respect that as their values of intimacy ruled that was just for them...unfortunately that wasn't for me... No its a bit turn on for you.. for me I have said it doesnt do much for me.. I honestly get nothing but turn off from kissing random meets.. certainly would not kiss at a club... or someone not a regular partner because simply it does nothing for me..
I have a very loving and trusting relationship, but still have things I keep for just us.. sex with others for me doesnt need the foreplay or the nice bits.. its for me about raw sex.. I have tried it the other way and just prefer the impersonal sex.
and what I keep for just us is being completely naked.. I will always keep something on.. and actually am very much into being almost dressed while i have guys naked to play with..
So I think it has nothing to do with being insecure but on what works for you...
same as those that cuddle up or spend the night with others.. something I would just not do.. why..?? because that to me is not part of nsa sex... but then I look for a fuck.
