Maybe a wee bit in unfamiliar social situations but 1-2-1 when I’m removing someone’s clothes... no. I can stand up in front of 30 people and run a workshop for 3 hours no problem though  |

Yeah, I'd say so. It's why I use sites like this and POF, because I lack the confidence to approach someone in a bar and I guess I'm hoping that by being here I could gain more confidence in myself. |

I know that. What I'm saying is if I'm able to meet people off here it might give me the confidence to approach a woman in a bar and talk to her. That's the goal. It's not about getting my end away, it's about being able to feel confident enough that my social anxiety goes away.

I was really shy as a child.
When I moved away from home I had an 18 month old, I forced myself to go to one of those god awful mum and tot type things. When I paid my money the woman said 'the new ones are over there' and pointed to the corner. I nearly left but went over and met one of my bff's to be.
I have my moments still. |
