Off topic a wee bit but I'm honest with friends about meeting guys for NSA but usually say it was off Tinder which they don't bat an eyelid at. If I mentioned this site they'd freak out though! Think the end game is the same for a lot of people but the approach maybe varies depending which one you're on at the time

Most my friends know I'm on here POF n Tinder lol.

I actually don't go on POF for sex but more often than not that is how it ends up like last night met for a drink then wake up next morning in her bed after hours of sexy fun and then morning sex lol.

Just think for most single guys it's easier on POF than it is on here and if say the ratio of men to women is the same lol.

I did put loads of effort in before only just changed my bio so the no effort story is nonsense I've found out. Been on FAB a long time and know a bio does not make much difference in a lot of cases.

Again I get what's been said here but only recently have I put pics like that on here so again pics so the issue I've found. There is no one key to success on here. Just pointing out that I've had more meets/sex this past month than I have off fab in the past few yrs. God knows why lol

There all good in one way or another right? It can be Hard work finding a nice reply at times but when it happens and you hit it off, I'm sure it don't matter what site

We have way more meets from tinder and bumble and even Grindr than on here .

You get to see the face first and that is a massive problem on here . We won’t message anyone that doesn’t have a face pic. So it means there very few people that we will interact with .

Also with tinder and bumble you get to choose who messages you. So only the people that you like rather than hundreds of people you wouldn’t .

We are honest on our profiles and say we are only looking for sex and friendships . And it doesn’t seem to bother males or females .

I think it depends what you are looking for OP. Your profile states that you are interested in gang bangs, group sex, threesomes, clubs and swapping. Such activities can’t really be achieved via a dating site. You also have 27 verifications many of which suggesting you are quite the party animal. So doesn’t sound like you are doing to badly to me. However if your interests have now moved away from swinging and into one-to-one meets, then that probably makes sense to use a dating site, as dating sites are more geered up for this, and have more women. Let’s face it, with swingers sites, most of the women are part of a couple, which is not what you want.

It’s very simple. You get more sex from a dating site because there are more women on dating sites and more even male to female ratios. For men looking for only single women, swingers sites will be somewhat cluttered up by women

like myself who are part of a couple. The two types of sites overlap but do have very different specialities. Its up to you to decide what you want and what it is you want and which type of site best achieves that.

Yes because most single women are looking for relationships, they don't want just sex but end up being used the same way as they would had they been on here in the first place. Fab may originally of been set up as a swingers site but it's now more of a sex site and has been for a considerable amount of time, that's why people think it's easier to get sex on here than a dating site.

Sad if you're a genuine swinger but great if you're a single looking for NSA sex.

As I said I'm not using POF A FOR SEX I genuinely do meet to date and find more for a relationship but yes there is guys on there do like you say. I never send a smutty message on POF at all.

And balance that out with the relative lack of single women on swingers sites and you have answer as to why it’s difficult to find one-to-one meets. Choice for single men looking single women: fish in a massive fish pond with hundred of other fishermen but only 10 fish. That’s Fab. Or fish in a massive fishpond with hundreds of fish. POF is second fishpond. That’s why it’s easier to get a meet from POF, hense it’s name.

At the end of the day it’s a mathematical equation as to why it’s easier for a single guy to get a meet on a dating site compared to a swingers site. Don’t know the exact statistics, but let’s say POF has a male:female ratio of maybe 3:2, and Fab has a single male:single female ratio in the region of 20:1, then it only takes a basic understanding of maths to work out which site is easier for a single man to meet a single woman. Now there are other benefits of Fab, more associated with swinging, which POF won’t offer. And there will be disadvantages of POF in that many single ladies will not be looking for nsa. So it’s up to the individual to decide what his needs are based on the advantages and disadvantages of both sites. But if the question is purely on numbers of meets, then I think dating sites would be a hell of a lot easier.

I find the men on POF have an awful attitude towards me and my look (big boobs must mean sexual objectification). I despair with it and have long learnt I just can't be arsed with the crudeness and bad manners, so I just don't bother. At least on here I get an element of respect (most of the time).

I have had relationships through fab and the clubs that for one reason or another came to end. But it wouldn't put me off starting one again.

I think that’s another good point. To compare the success of 2 sites, you need to compare like for like with regards to profiles. The OPs Fab profile pics would not be allowed on POF, therefore it’s likely he has profile pics on POF that are more appealing.

I have a Tinder account, but use POF mainly and I get the impression a lot of women on there don't really give a shit. A lot of profiles are either bare, have very little information on them or they just simply say ''ask''.

I tend not to message those women. I mean what am I supposed to say if their profile is empty?

Tinder, yeah, I can see that. But POF is a sex site? I don't know. I've always viewed it as a dating site and I use it with the intention of going on dates with potential to become something more.

A lot of profiles on there even say don't ask for nudes, I'm not here for sex and those profiles usually fall under the ''wants to date but nothing serious'' category.

I would say the amount of fake or misleading profiles on here is much more than there are on POF.

Yea honestly guys on POF are completely full of shit about their intentions

On here given the nature of the site they’re more honest about it
