I wouldn't say it gets my goat but I do wonder sometimes why when I click on a profile and find they've blocked me.
I never dwell on it. The reasons for blocking are numerous and I'm adult enough to accept it and move on, after all I wouldn't want to meet someone I'm not compatible with. I do usually block from my end too, just to make sure they can't keep unblocking to perve. |

I actually get off when I realised I am blocked because I actually managed to achieve something once in my life !
Always a pure bliss of getting blocked.

Doesn't bother me in the slightest when a random stranger does it OP as others have said there can be any number of reasons someone may have blocked me and not always because of something I've said or done.
The only time it would bother me would be if someone I had been chatting to for some time, and built a semblance of a relationship with, did it without apparent reason and even then it would be frustration at not knowing why more than annoyance. |

Used to bother me, but now I actually love getting blocked!! As it saves my time and increases the likelihood of interacting with someone that is actually interested in me  |

Completely agree. It would take me by surprise if it was out of the blue after talking and building a friendship. But, on here, blocked from a stranger? No, We all shouldn’t worry about that. |

Likewise, this annoys me as they are too cowardly to wait for a response to their nasty message! If you don’t like someone or their pictures just ignore them, there is no need to be nasty to others. |

See this is something that can go either way and it's a shame for single guys. We've had way too many messages to respond to especially in the first week or so. There could be some diamonds in the rough that we've missed and if they only sent one message our paths might never cross.
However, on the other hand there's guys that spam you continually and don't take the hint so we've ended up blocking them.

Immediate block. Not even a sorry, you're not my type....just hit the old block button because you are that ugly.

It's bothered me twice.
First was a guy messaged me in response to a post I made in the forum, he'd 100% took it the wrong way and was extremely abusive and threatening but he blocked me so I never got the chance to explain
The other was a couple I had sent a message to, emailed me back saying hi and then blocked me immediately |

When I was in a couple profile we used to block people we would never meet with. Also people who live close by.
Sometimes when I go into a profile for the first time and I’m blocked I do wonder what I’ve done, but no point dwelling on it...there’s loads more that do want to meet

I know it shouldn't but on the odd occasion it does. When I came on line this morning I had a message from a guy I had never spoken to before who had messaged in the early hours when I wasn't on to be rather aggressive and abusive regarding a status on my profile. Obviously I wanted to know what his problem was....but yea, you guessed it...blocked. Now I can't say on finding that out I wasn't slightly miffed...i wanted, no, NEEDED my 2 pence worth. lol |

But I did get upset by a nasty message last night from someone in Belfast I've never spoken to who had blocked me before I read it, made do with reporting to Admin |
