I've recently smashed my collar bone into pieces during a motorbike accident (I say accident but was in fact my confidence far out weighing my ability). I know all the good drugs to take and my gp isn't shy about giving me them. What I really wanna know is when will it stop? Nothing works at all |

Pain you can't stop is horrible especially if you can't see an end to it. I can't tell you when it will stop because I don't know. Can your gp give you an idea?
Is the pain normal? By that I mean have the medical people made sure that there's not a nerve trapped there or damaged somehow?
I hope you find answers. |

I am no physiotherapist but it is often heard that movement does help with pain, so maybe try to keep as mobile as you can. By that, I'm not saying go for a run, just don't sit for extended periods, just try good postures, walking, mild twists, stretches etc. You don't want to get hooked on pain meds - you hear that people with with arthritis do better with mild exercise. |

Collar bone is horrible, difficult to immobilise and everything kinda hangs from them so moving anything hurts.
I remember it being quite intense for about a week and sleeping badly in a reclining chair after giving up on trying to lie down. |
