No but then I use curvy to describe myself on our profile.

Bubbly would give my the impression that they consider themselves happy & confident.

Curvy that they have curves

No not if curvy refers to a lady, this is good, curvy in relation to a fella turns Mrs M right off.

Think the phrase is to each his own.

Certainly wouldn't avoid, but take both to mean larger than average. On a bloke, if he's described himself as 'curvy', would read that as fairly overweight.

Women are supposed to be curvy.

A lovely curved neck and shoulders is delicious to nibble on.

Moving down to the breasts, curved and so different on each women.

The curve of the hips and bum beautiful to hold and behold.

Down the legs and the curve of the thighs and calves.

And finally the arching of her back when I make her cum.

All women have curves and curvy women are beautiful.

If it's a man yes, as I think they'd be chubby, and I prefer slimmer men.

If we're honest there are some things on profiles that put us off. Mine include very attractive/good looking, vwe, graphic user names etc, but keep my opinions to myself as how people choose to describe themselves is their business, and wouldn't wish to alienate myself by starting a thread about it...but that's just me!

it put the question out there because as ive just said i think the word is overused by obvioulsy large "people" where have a specified a gender . in other words i dont mind meeting with genuine "curvy" people , but when the pictures are obviously obscured and the member are beyond curvy then its obviously set out to deceive others .

Bubbly is a term for a happy, friendly, confident person.

Curvy in relation to women means a woman with curves - ie breasts, a slimmer waist, larger hips, rounded bottom, an hourless shape if you like.

Both of those words are quite positive I'd say. .

Some people are quieter and shy, therefore they probably wouldn't class themselves as bubbly.

There are some ladies who are bigger and some who are very slim who are not curvy. Some slimmer women have very boyish shapes, some larger ladies do not have a defined waist or a body that goes 'in and out'.

You may not be attracted to a certain type of woman, though, as was pointed out, you did enjoy a curvy girl, so if you are put off by someone using that word in their profile then why go ahead with the meet.

Stop trying to insult people you are not attracted to and just search and message those you do like

People have the right to put whatever they feel applies to them on their profile.

Whatever some people do they can't win.

The average dress size in the UK is 16, so if they say average, they are accussed of being Big.

At the end of the day if you don't like them term don't get in touch.

It will be your loss not theres.

seriously you need to read the whole thread before jumping in , save me saying it 6 times , i like curvy women , its the people who have obscured the pics deliberately an who are larger so larger that it exceeds curvy that are either in denial or attempting to deceive . simple really .

I posted before seeing the OPs post so apologise.

People will call themselves what they want, and will use words which they like. Your interpretation may be different.

Some people may say they are attractive, I might not think they are. Its best to just look at the pics and guage whether you are interested from those

I don't understand this statement. If you consider yourself to be a BBW and call yourself that, why when fab friends say you are not are they being kind to you?

Do you consider being a BBW a negative statement, if so then why call yourself it.

If I met a woman describing herself as "curvy", I'd expect her to look like one of the old screen sirens.

Liz Taylor, Monroe, Sophia Loren, etc, etc.

An hour glass figure, large boobs, small waist, round bum.

If a guy describes himself as "curvy" I imagine a fat Roman emperor! R

And I have seen more than a few men who describe themselves as 'well endowed' when in fact they don't measure up when it comes down to it....

It's not life or death here....it's only swinging.

"Hmmmm note to self, avoid anyone calling themself 'fitmale' . . .

Maybe 'fullofhimself' might be a little bit more apt!

I refer to myself as fit male because I am fit and I am a male and I’m not full of myself! Some people call themselves athletic, does that mean they can run a marathon?

i call myself fit because yes i run a full marathon in 3 hrs 45 , i also swim daily an jog daily . hope that clears it up for you .

Which is ok if I was looking for someone to represent the UK in the next Olympics.....but I'm on here for a different kind of 'sport'.

so if your fit your saying is a disadvantage on here . righto

Not really any different to your original post really...

different people put different meanings to words.. for me I would take fit as being hunky.. and not physically fit as you mean it but I ain't going to have a go at you just because I put a different meaning to the word!

Lets just leave people to decide on their own meanings for words..

maybe lets just be honest would be a better answer , some just said above that they are large and they use curvy because thats the only option given , im sure theres an ample option

so whats the diffrence between large and ample then ?

i regard ample and large as the same thing . an ample person isnt a curvy person though , but on here some "a lot of" people cant seem to define the two

so do you think im using the wrong term on my profile then ?

yes i do"

ok and you think it should say what ?

Surely if someone isn't your cup of tea the easiest thing to do is ignore their profile and don't contact them?

because when a persons pics are obscured and you agree to a meet and they are not willing to show another pic or a full body pic then is obvious that person wont be curvy bit large , thinks thats good enough reason for fuss if someones trying to decieve you

A person can be athletic in many sizes from sprinter to swimmer to wrestler, lightweight boxer, heavyweight boxer, sumo wrestler.

I call myself curvy because I have curves.

I am classed as morbidly obese-but I am fit... I swim 100 lengths each day, I walk 5 miles a day, I have a job that entails carrying heavy loads- very heavy I work hard..fit to my doctors says brill heart rate they use me as an example that fat people can be fit!!!.. I don't collapse after 3 thrusts of being on top... But my physical appearance is huge... I don't lie I always meet first so people actually see me- and if I don't like what I see I say too... So different words make different people react, I'm sure loads of us have checked your profile and you will have contact from a few in pm who agree with you.. And the ones who don't will move on and forget this thread as soon as it's off page 1. i see a lot of women moaning about single guys in this forum but the minute a guy pulls people not just women for lying you jump on the bandwagon and try to bring him down , i think i have a very valid point as others have quite clearly agreed on the thread , funny thing is most of the ones that dont could well be classed as beyond curvy .

Sadly you have to admit once the OP elaborated he has a point, people will lie on here and some have no doubt decieved people with their pics.

To the OP...the best thing to do is double check pics and profiles, and even if you find one you like, ask the person to cam to show their size...then there will be no surprises.

im making a point i see many have disected my profile because im making a valid point , shes 5ft3 and a size 16 so i deduce from that that she isnt curvy , people are quick to jump on me and try to twist what im saying , we can all play that game but only when i the minority on this thread do it then its considered rude and i have had a serious life changing event lol .

Has this actually happend to you ?because if it has then thats too bad but dont think everyone is the same and judge them as so its not fair and its not right

if i wanted to be anal i could quite easily pull up 50 profiles described as curvy that are obvioulsy ample .

but that is your interpretation. Not everyone would agree. You just won't accept that words mean different things to different people will you??

well i dont consider you curvy no "

But others do.. I have a defined waist, boobs and bum which is what you have decribed curvy as!! You haven't seen a picture so cannot comment! Marilyn Munroe was a curvy woman and she was a size 16.

"Sadly you have to admit once the OP elaborated he has a point, people will lie on here and some have no doubt decieved people with their pics.

To the OP...the best thing to do is double check pics and profiles, and even if you find one you like, ask the person to cam to show their size...then there will be no surprises."

thank you for that a member who has seen what im saying and not tried to pull the negetives from it .

Its my choice not to put a full body pic up. I do have one I send on request to those who interest me. I may not interest you much as you may not interest me but I have not got personal about your profile. I couldn't even be bothered to look at it to be fair.

Size 14/16 is not that large.. I could describe myself as average as I'm around the average UK size but I have curves.

Nah.....you are coming across as rude, which I guess was probably the REAL reason for starting the thread.

If you meet someone from this site without conducting due diligence then that can only be described as your own fault.

There are the tools available (cam check etc.) to ensure that the person/s you are meeting are to your own taste, but if you choose to by pass these easy to use options then that can only be your own fault.

But there really is no need to be publicly bitchy to people about their size just because they are entering into a debate over the subject, if you can't see that is just plain rude then I despair.

Shame really as the thread has a good point to it, but you got a little too personal when people challenged your _iew point.

I don't see that as the actions of 'An easy going, fun guy'....just looks like cheap shots at people for not agreeing with you.

Don't be pedantic Jane. The man asked a question, he didn't ask for HIS profile to be dissected because of it.

And having just read your last post, maybe you should read your own comments about being personal and apply them to yourself too.

Oh dear, body policing. It's bad enough we're subject to it everywhere we look, now its on here.

I'm 5'10, 14 stone, and a size 16. If thats not large I don't know what is (definition of large being of more than average size [from Dictionary.com]), but that doesn't make me not curvy! And if the OP deigns to disagree then he is applying double standards.

Now unfortunately I don't find overweight men attractive but guess what I do? Bypass their profile. I don't go to the forums and post that everyone is a Fatty Fatty McFatterson. Jeez! Back in primary school I see.

Fit, what does it mean or imply, in what way should it be interpreted? Does it mean the individual is fit for a specific task or purpose to which they will be employed or utilised, or that they can run a mile in four minutes, lift heavy weights, compete in a marathon etc but yet be unable to read a profile.

People write thier profiles stating the age they were when it was written. Two years on should they be castigated for not updating because you can't work it out and add two years.

Most people are not trying to deceive you. Size 16 is now the average size for females in the UK. That means anyone who is size 8/10/12 and14 is anorexic. Anyone size 18 and above is BBW.

Think beyond your eyes - see the person, the individual and the potential!

You really are not getting it tbh....what one person thinks of curvy/ large / slim is not always what the next persons definition is....they are not liars when they describe themselves, they just have different definitions than you.

Now I think we had a load of defensive posts on here , but you elaborated your point and it was valid, but now it is getting silly calling people liars, so I think you are looking for more of a reaction now.

So on that note..maybe time to shut this.
