I never look at them, perhaps I should? Its just that answering messages takes up so much time, and I’ve always assumed that If someone is really interested they will message.

Winks are a handy addition to the site.

For example......

If someone is interested but not sure they fit your criteria, maybe a little out of age range, as an example.

Then they send a wink, if you wink back, that's an opening for them to message, as they initiated the wink.

I except winks and I check them. I also respond with a wink if I'm interested in that persons profile.

I don't see it as being lazy at all. It saves a lot of time, better than reading endless messages.

Not responding to a wink is received much better than not responding to a message.

I check mine but rarely respond to them and even more rarely send them - would much rather send/receive a message
