You Dont Need to Know, right now |
Personally, I hate the fact that men message me when I'm 'online'. I think it indicates pushiness, and a "she'll do" attitude, rather than genuine interest in me. Men might log on when they're horny and focussed solely on getting sex, but I don't work like that, and I think a good proportion of women will agree with me. I log on to read the Forums, or have a laugh in chat, or to keep in touch with existing friends. If this results in sex, so much the better, but finding sex is not my single focus. Women can multi-task, you know!
In the days when my inbox was open, I would simply 'delete all' unread, of those messages which had arrived when I was logged on, as the chances of any of them being right for me was minimal. I pay more attention to the messages from those who have got in touch when I was OFFLINE, as there is more chance that they have read my profile and approaching me as a potential good match, with a well-thought-out message, rather than just because they think I'm 'available'. |
