My I phone won't charge or switch on, took it to Apple, who said its not a software issue. Like an idiot I havent backed the phone up for months. If I get a new phone, keep the same number would I get my what's app conversations and tinder matches back or are they lost ?

Don't know the specifics..but.. "on android" you can retrieve a lot of data out of a phone by logging into your gmail account remotely and pull photos and other data out of your phone "from" another device.... I'm sure therll be a simular methed using your iTunes account which will ID you to your device in the same way a gmail account would... Don't know how, should think you need to access "from" another iPhone/iPad/Apple Mac but hope this points you in the right direction... I'd go into a Apple Store, they'll know exactly what to do.

You will get the apps back but because you haven't backed to the cloud you will not see old messages in WhatsApp. X I've moved back to android hated the I phone x

I wouldn't worry about it .. Anyone worth having in your life will find you if they not heard from you in a while because you lost their details

Have you tried hard rebooting it by simultaneously holding the middle home button and the power button down for 15 to 20 seconds?

You’ll keep your WhatsApp, I’m pretty sure. Also, I think you’ll keep your Tinder matches. Apple should know, if you ask them...

Tried everything, been to Apple, they couldn't get it to work.

Tinder will be fine when you log back in from a new device. You'll lose your WhatsApp messages though as you need to back them up before switching.
