the club policy of towels is a good one - whichever club it is - it's a good leveller and means you can do sauna and jacuzzi easily
don't be put off - it works bettser than clubs where you can be dressed
enjoy ! |

"Had a look at their site just a few minutes ago and we didn't like the towel or shorts policy, it just kinda feels you are under pressure to perform rather than relax first. "
dont let that put you off - chams is a great place and we'd always prefer it to any other club (2.5 hours drive for us)
There is no pressure at all - if you dont want to you dont have to! |

"Is it a good leveller? Surely a good leveller is to meet fully clothed and get to a stage of undress through interaction? Meeting already undressed is going to give people a chance to Pre-judge?"
I go to kestrals near heathrow during day where it is towels or wraps and its fine may take newbies a bit of time to strip but soon as the realize how relaxed it is great. By night it is Abfabs and there as long as you happy you can wear what you want or nothing at all have found that to be just great as well it all helps the new people feel more relaxed |

It's a couple of years since I went to Chams but I certainly remember the towels policy as working really well.
Who wants to be watched whilst naked - or nearly naked - by a bunch of fully clothed people who are not necessarily prepared to make the commitment themselves.
The other thing is that it's always quite busy - and that means there are always a lot of people in towels NOT PLAYING.
It's perfectly possible to sit in the bar all evening and never do a thing - and no-one will know! You're bound to get some admiring glances and maybe the odd chat-up but it's very non-threatening.
Then the exciting bit is when you decide to get up from your seat and go for a wander around the labyrinth of debauchery! You can decide to stay, watch, join in or skittle back to the safety of the bar. All tastes catered for! |

I agree, dont like the idea of a towel, nice to see ppl all dressed up. Puts me off, never feel pressured, but just like to see sexy ppl dressed nice, not all the same in a dam white towel lol |

Really, well your opinion. I would rather be dressed than just look like one of the sheep, all walking round in white towels. This towel dressing gown thing has put us off going to clubs like chams. |

Chams is a great club and its policy works, but its easy to understand why some people prefer to be dressed.
So both works for different people.
You might want to try VA, they are open some Sundays. |
