I personally dont send out any friend invites or winks as i have been told recently by a female friend from here that she regularly gets 50.....70 replies a day including winks.
Its probably a futile excersise for a guy to wink or send friend invites as couples & single females literally get swamped.
What is the most you have had in a day !!! i would think as a newbie on here it must be horrendous. |

I switched my settings one day last week to say we might be interested in single males. We received almost 80 messages in the day never mind all the winks. Settings changed back to couples only straight after and back down to a handful of messages a day. |

If by replies you mean messages then it depends on our activity....a standard day might be 30...post new pics and it can easily reach 100....go on cam and we lose count....winks are just bulk deleted so I don't really know how many we receive. |

It's completely manageable if we use filters and only jumps up if we post new pictures.
People who have been here a few weeks and got past the initial flood only get swamped with messages if they want to be.
We're all attention seekers to a degree but some are much more than others and then have the false complaint of not being able to cope. |

We've never really understood when people class messages on here as unsolicited.
A profile is an advert, an advert is an attempt to solicit interest. A response to that advert has been solicited.
It is not like junk mail. No one advertises to receive junk mail. That's why it's unsolicited.
The only profiles that could claim to receive unsolicited messages on here are those that are hidden or specifically state that they do not want messages from anyone. |

 yep I've never understood that either. If I don't want any messages I hide otherwise we can't pick and choose who messages us. |

The most messages was over 900 but that was the day I opened the account. A normal day is about 50, if I put a meet up then around 300. Replies are pretty much nonexistent as I tend to just reply to the people that message me not initiate contact. |

I was using it as an analogy, and a tongue in cheek one at that 
Nowhere did i say they were annoying or i hate recieving them.. they are part and parcel of the fab experience |

Couldnt have put it better......filters do help even I as a man have had to block males asking stupid questions like" if you get a female how about sharing her"....... |

I'm hidden at the moment but from when I was last unhidden I have 710 new winks

4 or 5 i think but i dont consentrate on chasing the lassess i just send based on status updates i see just try get a bit of good banter going first get an idea of what there like |
