I don’t mind a younger guy if he seems mature for his age and has a well presented and enticing profile

25 isn't massively young. I wouldn't have thought that would be a problem.

As long as you realise that just because some women find men younger than them attractive, they may not want to meet you.

In general terms, I had been more open to younger guys, but I got lots of messages from "cougar hunters" or guys wanting to make a thing of my advanced age (please let's not, I'm 32 not 92). Or guys thinking they're all that because they're under 25. The experiment was shortlived and I'm wary of anyone under 30 now.

Specifically OP, your username would bother me.

I'm not put off. I know what I want, but I want it to come with a certain attitude (respect for me as a person rather than a mere demographic). I didn't find that in the sub 25 crowd, so I filtered them out. Plenty more fish in the sea.

I'm sure there are plenty of names you could pick that aren't crass. How would you pick a name for another site? I enjoy wearing swing dresses. I'm "in a swing dress" right now, as it happens.

I have zero luck on here with women of my own age. All at least 10 years older.

I fully understand that and they should have respect for you as a person I know I few people don't on this site

As for a name on another site I put my real name on them as this is the only site I am on like this and I bet you look good in your swing dress

Thank you.

Some other suggestions:

References to places where you live or have lived that aren't immediately obvious (so there was a street near where I grew up called Delaware Street. So I might incorporate Delaware into my name). A pet's name. A hobby (probably not a sports team, divisive). A geeky reference of some description. If you had a terrible email address as a kid (you might be a bit young for that), use that (mine was bluebanana84. No, I don't know why either).

I will end put changing my name when I can come up with a new one that ain't already been used

To me you sound rather immature and coming up with excuses for your username only highlights that. There are a zillion and more things you could have chosen, so they aren't all taken, just the ones you could think of there and then.

I'm willing to bet the ones you did think of were sexually related.

To be fair, if you like your username then keep it. Some people it won't bother, other people will roll their eyes and think "here's another kid who was expecting to be knee deep in clunge by now "

I assume they divided the number of older women who prefer younger guys by the number of older women in total, then multiplied by 100. But where did they get they figures?

I must be young, I was asked for ID in Sainsburys, the lady was insistent she saw it before she would serve me.
