Do people have a preference for smaller gatherings 3-5 couples or for larger parties 15+ couples/singles?

We're going to start hosting parties again soon and actually enjoy both but interested in the opinion of others?

Away with the fairies (Liverpool to you)

They both have their good points. We like smaller intimate parties where everyone plays and bigger parties where it’s usually quite social but we still play. What style do you prefer - you are the ones hosting so ultimately it’s uo to you

Large groups are better more chance of meeting someone who matches what your looking for.

Also don't feel left out so much if things don't going as planned lol

We have held a few party’s and keep them small . We only invite people we have meet before to ensure as far as possible they will get on. We often find that the people we get on with our friends do as well

This. I've attended a few parties and trusted the judgement of the hosts. They have known all people invited and done a fantastic job in providing the right group and atmosphere.

I prefer a larger group of people, there's more options. Imagine coming to a party with maybe 3-5 ladies and non of em are attracted to you lol shame

We enjoy both for different reasons. There seems to be a tipping point on numbers between between mainly play or mainly social.

Slough Windsor ish

The only house partys Ive attended have been small groups of 4 or 5 couples who have all playedtogether at a club. I wouldn't go to one with just random people, you need there to be an existing friendship.

"How big is your house??!"

Big enough to host the parties we've held.

Small parties every time no more than 12 people up for play, large parties end up with lots of people just hanging about in the kitchen with no intention of playing and just socialising, yawn x

This. Also less pressure to play.

We're not really fans of house parties, especially smaller ones. I've never really been attracted to people at a private party and then it can be really awkward when people start getting naked and just expect that everyone is happy to play. More people means more choice and it's easier to skip away if you don't fancy anyone.

*slip, not skip. Now I have this ridiculous image of myself skipping away from a sex party where I didn't fancy anyone

With a discreet skipping rope.

No you don't. Many party goers don't visit clubs.

Hi Guys, I have been to a few parties and clubs. I think larger groups are better. I would love to attend if given the opportunity, with in mind, helping out, providing drinks, serving drinks etc. Ensure everyone is happy. xx

Both have there advantages and disadvantages. Larger numbers tend to lead to it being more of a social unless the hosts or somebody keeps the party moving.

When there are smaller groups then need to chose the couples carefully otherwise it can turn out to be awkward.
