I would not meet without seeing a picture or talking on the phone, as the voice plays an important part for me. I met a man who looked like Daniel Craig but sounded like Joe Pasquale...after ten minutes of hearing him talk I wanted to sew his lips shut.
As for verifications: the thought of taking into account the opinions of a total stranger to decide whether to meet another stranger is ludicrous to me.
Eight years on site, never had a problem. |

We'll meet someone with no verifications and often have. We won't meet unless we've seen a face picture though. Apart from recognition issues I like to know what a man's face looks like.
When it comes to safety their looks or verifications give no guarantees though and people should always be aware of that. |

Likewise with women....there is no way on earth I’d meet someone who didn’t show their face.
I know people need to be discreet but even if they have the body of a goddess, I have to find them attractive  |

I may be mad but my face pics are on public viewing, that way people can decide from the start if they want to meet me or not , mainly not  but i think it saves wasted messages, i understand thats not for everyone |

I think face pictures are good but also it's a 2 way thing I do believe it's only fair that if someone asks for a face they should either have one somewere in there pics or send with first message as I would mines set to private if asked I would send but would ask for one back dunno if that sounds fair or not I would also speak if not comfortable I have a strong Manchester accent so would defo stand out |

That's what I find alarming. Some people don't exercise due diligence in who they meet because they've read "he's a nice bloke" on a verification.

If I initiate first message I attach a photo. If I get a reply and get a body pic etc I don't respond further. |
