Can't see the point in this option. If you really have such an interest in someone that your willing to send face pics why would you want them deleted the first time they are viewed ?

If you don't receive a reply after a while then you can delete them yourself.

I find this annoying as a lot of the time I will open the message and hubby is not about I go to show him the photo and it's gone. I will ask for it again but seems like a lot faffing about.

Northampton Somewhere

If I've attached a face pic once I see that the message has been read I remove it.

This is because I prefer not to have my face pic 'out there'

I can't imagine Mr wanting to see a pic of a guy that we are chatting to. It's like me being gutted about not seeing a picture of a car engine when buying a car x

I screen shot face pics so I don't forget who I'm talking to and for safety if I meet them. If I don't end up meeting them they are deleted.

Yeah I've done this. It's a pointless feature really....

Totally agree. I’d rather not have my face pic circulated too widely.

I actually love this option, I like that I have a little more control over my pics and I’m happy to resend if needed.

Except when you sent me your face pic I downloaded it to my phone and have circulated it on other websites. I didn't. Because you didn't send me your pic. But it can be done.

On quite a few occasions we've had to request pics be resent if I've opened a message and have seen somebody wife might like, but when I go to show her, the pics have disappeared.

It's a pain but I respect the reasons why.

Don't quite understand what your man being straight has to do with it.

I'm straight but would still like to see a picture of the man who would like to shag my wife.

If I've got to the stage where I'm happy to send a pic I've usually got one off them first.

If we're chatting on kik I'll use photo bomb.

I'm not naive at all.

If you're using a mobile you can also tap and hold on the photo. The option to download image pops up. That's the method we use.

Thanks I will have to remember that next time. But being able to do that makes the whole delete when read function pointless really

Like some others, I use the feature sometimes, especially if I'm not that certain that there's a match and to retain a little control over my pics.

What does it matter?

If members want to delete images after they have sent and that makes them feel like they have some control over their photos then surely that's the reason the website brought the feature in?

By the same token if others don't see the point of removing and they are comfortable having their images on any message without deletion then if that makes them comfortable.

For me we have been here 8 years and having images on this website doesn't concern us if it did we wouldn't have any on the profile either in public or private.

I'd be unhappy if fab removed this feature. Not everyone would think to screenshot immediately, so hopefully it gives me a degree of control and discretion

The point is you have lost control as soon as you press send .....if you do not want your pictures to be collected scanned DO NOT POST ON THE INTERNET....as even pictures you view still stay in your cache and as people has already said you can save images ......when its out there its to late
