but people will still tick it even if they sometimes go bareback.. its listed now as an interest.. yet everyone we have ever had ask us or we have gone bb with has clearly had safe sex on the profile.

Don't know what the original question was, but, we insist on "safe sex", have it ticked, only reply to people who have the same, and when they get here, still ask if we'll go BB...WTF? |

To be honest, I think the "safe sex" tick box is a complete waste of time. Whether people tick it or not is irrelevant because it's at a person's "discretion" on the the night whether they decide to use protection or not. The even funnier thing is that while some people claim safe sex only, they may make allowances for people they have regular fun with.
So instead of worrying about what other people have ticked and not ticked in their profiles, worry about your own conduct as your sexual health is your responsibility and yours alone.  |

few months ago we started exchanging messages with a couple who had the safe sex option ticked, but in one reply to question of interests (as profile was very non-descript) they also listed BB
when we asked if they had read our profile (which at the time had at least 2 clear lines stating Safe Sex Only, as well as that interest selected) ... their reply was "well everyone ticks that but dont mean it"

And to be honest they are within their rights to do so
I have water sports ticked but that does not mean i have to piss on everyone i meet, if i do meet a guy and we do not do water sports does that mean its not an interest?
So why does it mean if you have safe sex ticket you should practice it every time or take it off? |

Good point.
We're all adults here. If someone has practises or interests that you don't like or have no interest in exploring then it wasn't meant to be.
