Have you come across profile with i can't accommodate or travel?Sound bizarre in my eyes.For people with disabilities and children to look after.l understand their predicaments.l wonder how you meet people if can't accommodate or travel reasonable distance.You think this is a ploy to discourage people? |

nothing bizarre about it at all...many people have that on their profile, i do, its never been a problem...numerous threads have been done on this..if it bothers you, why not ask them their reasons..or better still, just ignore those profiles |

I can accommodate but I won't - no way I'd let anyone off this site in my street.
I can travel but if I tick the box, people assume that means I'll travel 200 miles to give them a bj.

Many people take travel to mean across the width of the country.
In my case it means I won't travel 200 miles for a mediocre fuck, but am happy to travel to my local club.
For others it can mean they are willing to travel across town, possible because they can only use public transport but not 50 miles.
Or go to a local hotel 5 minutes away.

I won't travel! As I don't want to be far from my children.. I won't accommodate as I have children! Nore would I have a stranger in my home, near them! Yes I can travel, but don't need to, nor do I need to accommodate. As I only seek out men who can local to me! It's what suits the individual.. That's why we are on fab! |

I would agree to a point but everyone has there own right and how to live it, but lots of people look at it that they got something to hide.  |

I can accommadate but never on a first meeting. A few yesrs ago i invited a single lady to come here after chatting but lived to regret it. After the first few minutes she started talking about money for sex and it became obvious that she was an escort using fab as a pick up site. I never have paid for sex , never will so declined and asked her to leave. Which she did. Minutes later a large stone came through my front window. Ran outsite but she was driving off. A rather expensive way to find out that not everyone on here are what they seem. So social first everytime for me. |

To me ‘can travel’ suggests travel to the other party. I ‘travel’ to my local club & will only meet there. So I’m not accommodating & I’m not travelling to someone else either!
I think the point is that it’s not quite as back & white as the OP thought! |

I meet by chance in clubs. So that's why it's on my profile. I enjoy fab to keep up with friends and events, and chat in the forums, I don't meet people anywhere else therefore I don't travel to anybody, and I don't accommodate. |

I can accommodate and travel. I change it regularly depending on what mood i’m in. I tend to meet at clubs or maybe hotel though. Depends ... right person and all that lol

I love how people are so thick they don’t understand this. I thought about taking it off my profile but it’s too much fun confusing the thickos
In my case I drive but won’t travel far, not even south manchester so if I put I do people seem to think I should. Even people from Liverpool and Leeds etc try to convince me it’s only an hours drive. The answer is NO I’m not about to travel 2 hours round trip especially when I only have 2 to 3 hours spare!! |

I have exactly that - I wont travel and I wont accommodate and make it clear my meets take place at Eureka or DV8 only unless Im in hotels on business

I would agree but the down side is people who cannot accommodate mainly single men it harder on them when seeking due to people thinking they got something to hide..
